Next look at Dragon Age 4 at The Game Awards (Dec. 10)

It was the right choice if the goal was to prove they are the overhyped hacks many said they were since they can’t even tell a complete story correctly, something even children can do.

Same. If Inquisitor is going to make a cameo then I hope they are controllable. I didn't like how they did Hawke.

Speaking of Hawke, I wonder if there will be an option to sacrifice the Inquisitor? We can do that with Warden and Hawke, so it might as well be tradition at this point.

I'm not expecting much... we're still years away and the pandemic likely added to it. I will say for them to reveal it and not hide it... maybe will get footage?

As a general rule, I don’t think a game can’t be shown two/more years before release, if the marketing plan is well thought and executed. Even though it was due to delays, Cyberpunk did a similar approach.

That said, I don’t think they’ll show actual footage, especially because they haven’t formally announced the game and its title. Given that it seems there won’t be interviews or similar stuff, *if* a trailer is shown, I think it’ll be a CGI one like the one for DAI, plus the official announcement of the game and some more info on the website.

I do think that, given the departures of Darrah and Hudson, it would be smart to release some kind of information and possibly trailer, even if in CGI, on the game, to quell some people’s anxiety and fears, and generate hype. But even if the tweets are implying some kind of showing, I’ll keep
my expectations low.

I guess so. I’d personally like for our character to be part of something else before the game, too, like the Lord of Fortunes. Which I think is one of (among others) groups that, if the protagonist would hail from it, makes sense for him/her to be an unlikely hero/heroine.

Honestly, my expectations were pretty low that the Inquisitor would return. My only hope though is that the character doesn’t get railroaded into some kind of terrible fate, or have a fate determined by the new PC like the Inquisitor [indirectly] deciding who stays behind in the Fade or something. If the Inquisitor is to not be the center of the action, I just hope that this character can retain some dignity, preferably living life with the people (or person) that stuck around. All things considered, it’s just as well. Each new Dragon Age game always comes with the prospect of getting to know (and possibly romance) a totally new roster, without the baggage of carrying over a previous romance like Mass Effect did. 

I would be pretty surprised if BioWare went that little extra mile though and had Solas’ affinity level determine the Inquisitor’s fate. All those people that punched him would be in for a treat. 

Well you know what? Either let it go or don't buy DA4. It's that simple. It's that easy.

I agree this looks like damage control on EA's part (IMO) Hudson and Darrah forced departure, me? my expectations are little in the coming future they have a lot to prove  to me before i will buy another game from them, Oh! by the way Hanako nice selection on your vid I love the Railgun/Accelerator series
