Hoo boy, talk about stretching. Worth a watch if you need a laugh. Legs framing a shot of armoured shell creatures = Must be a dwarf! Cloaked figure has pale fingers = Must be Fenris! Cave painting that is very clearly Corypheus = Must be Morrigan! I did like the suggestion that the archer with the funky shard bow could be some kind of mage/rogue hybrid. That'd be cool, actually.

With the concept art that seemed to show characters using similar magic to shield themselves, I'm hoping that it can be used to form all sorts of constructs, and that we'll see a lot of mage/xyz hybrids.

Hoo boy, talk about stretching. Worth a watch if you need a laugh. It is amusing the strange conclusions he comes to. Also he thinks it is significant that Varric knows who Solas is. Does he really not think the Inquisitor would have discussed his confrontation with Solas with them? Plus the clues to him being Fen'Harel were scattered throughout Trespasser, so we can actually work out who Solas is before confronting him. Since it is always assumed by the writers that all companions are present, whether you have them in your party or not, Varric would already know about these clues even if the Inquisitor kept quiet about the meeting. Also, he clearly didn't get the memo about the Inquisitor's story being over after Trespasser, so if the Inquisitor has been side-lined, clearly the Well of Sorrows is no longer important, so Morrigan isn't either. However, if the Well of Sorrows is going to play a part in what happens, then that does point to the Inquisitor returning at some point even if it is only as an alternative to Morrigan. Personally, I think they are going to quietly forget about it but you never know.

Because the last story, May the Dread Wolf Take You, establishes that it's common knowledge among the power players in Thedas' espionage community that Solas is Thin Harold Fen'Harel.

Because the last story, May the Dread Wolf Take You, establishes that it's common knowledge among the power players in Thedas' espionage community that Solas is Thin Harold Fen'Harel. I wouldn't say it's common knowledge among all of them. After all the Crows seem blissfully unaware of the danger he poses. Their focus is entirely on the Qunari Antaam, which I wonder may be because he was the one to make them aware of it. Still, there is no mention of him in any of the stories involving the Crows and they are not mentioned as one of the groups that Charter contacted for her meeting. If the meeting was meant to have included the foremost spy organisations in Thedas, then the Crows should have been there. Whilst they are renowned as assassins within Antiva, they are also used by people throughout Thedas and thus know secrets and have contacts far and wide. The involvement of the Carta did actually point to Varric keeping his spy channels going. Clearly he got wind of the fact that the Carta had been responsible for some strange goings on in the Gallows and that is why they were invited, because it is clear Charter already knew the information before the dwarf told his tale. Of course she also knew that the idol had not fallen into Qunari hands at the fall of Ventus and where it had gone. Information that was presumably passed back by Dorian. I also wonder, since he has contacts in the Mortalitassi, if he was also the one to suggest inviting their representative to the meeting, because lets face it, they are not actually a known player in the espionage community. She also claims that she did issue an invitation to the Tevinter Siccari and the Ben'Hassrath when challenged by the other participants about it but in the case of the latter, I do wonder if she did. With the importance of keeping Solas in the dark about what they know, would she really have included those who know the most about him in a meeting of people that you cannot be sure are that hot on security or can be trusted with it. In fact, I almost wonder if the idea was to tempt the Dread Wolf out, or at least one of his agents, by putting together this particular meeting with those particular people.
