Okay, I suspect it will be 3 games. But I kind of think it would be a fun option at least if it could be played in 1 game mode. Some shows if you have the disks have a marathon method of playing it. You see the intro when you first stop playing it and only see the end credits for the last episode on the disk. I kind of think if they could do that for the legendary edition it would be kind of fun. When you beat ME1 instead of run credits, go to the start page and play ME2, it just fades to black and says 6 months later roll ME2.

I don't think that would work with ME1 ancient combat system, then switching to a better and more fun combat system for 2 and 3. IIRC ME:LE is basically a glorified graphical update to be more presentable for livestreaming the games on XBX, PS5, and new high-end PCs for YouTube and Twitch.

I... wouldn't expect the first game of the LE to have gameplay like Mass Effect 3. That would be a complete remake.
It sounds to me like the LE is just a polished, prettier version of the game. AT MOST we'll get better mako driving and faster elevators.

Scenario A: "Monolithic Experience" To do so, all 3 games need to run on the same engine (UE3). I think ME2/ME3 are UE3 already, so only ME1 needs to be ported. Alongside that EA/Bioware will fix some technical issues and may even touch certain parts of the games that were bugged in the original releases.
Stitching all three games together IS possible but well beyond the scope of a mere remaster, therefore I consider this scenario was "wishful thinking".
Scenario B: "3 in 1" All three games run on the same engine (UE3) and have the same savegame format, therefore porting stuff from one game to another isn't magic. When starting the launcher, you can pick from one of the three games and start playing. All three games are virtually like the original releases, except changes made to make 'em appear more monolithic. Gameplay of all three games may be similar (ME1 combat -> ME2 combat for instance).
Scenario C: "both" Somewhat difficult to explain. Basically it's scenario B, but once you finish ME1, you can decide to continue Shepard's adventure and ME2 gets loaded instead right out of ME1. The games will appear to be monolithic but are still three separate games.

Didn't think there would be big technological problems with this, i thought there would be just a script that was like ME1 end, play ME2 save 01A.But hey good to know that its not likely.

It seems like an easy ask OP. It'd be nice to not have to exit and start the next game. The biggest impediment that comes to mind is your character transferring...especially into ME3 in which they decided to completely alter the look of the default femShep (which I found annoying). I suppose it could take you to the character creator window prior to the start...

Well it seems the answer is no they wont, watched some interview with people who could observe but not play the game. When you beat ME1 it rolls back to the launchers. Depending on the launcher it may be a half way point. I am a bit surprised when watching the video they said a lot lot of people had been asking for this.
