Beerfish - INTJ-T
"As an INTJ-T you have a fascination with woodchippers, empty barrels in your garage and lime, you enjoy boxed wine, black with red streaks is your favourite colour, your favourite song is 'come on eileen', you liked the endings to mass effect 3, patrick from spongebob is your favourite tv character, you enjoy dressing as a clown but only on nights with a full moon, you have a collection of 37 garden gnomes but only the heads. your favourite food is peanut butter and pickle sandwiches"
What bs! I do not like boxed wine! .... The rest is pretty accurate.

Well, according to that site, i'm an ISFP-A ('Adventurer'), though I get classified as ISTJ almost as often when doing those questionnaires. That said, I don't give much for these classifications. ... dammit

I am the rarest one there is (or one of the rarest, depending upon who you ask). I am an INTJ. Which means that I don't believe in the MBTI. I'm also a Sagittarius, so I don't believe in astrology either. Yeah, rigid scientific analysis or bust. I'm the same. If it's not replicable in a lab, it's not real. It's too late in the world for your superstitious bullshit.

I'm an INFJ - The Advocate. Pretty sure it was the turbulent version most recently. I've done it a few times, and always had the same result - the 4 letter result, can't remember if it's always the turbulent one or not. However, not suprised to see so many introverts here Would I say I feel it's accurate about myself? Yeah I'd say it's pretty spot on as to what I think I am like.

Logician apparently.
Too bad I'm fucked. Could use a format and a clean install in the noggin. Half of the stuff that they wrote I can observe but is actively suppressed. Because borderline clinically insane.

So somewhere last year I came across this YouTube channel called Frank James, where he talks about the 16 personalities in various sketches and sometimes informative videos as well. Now, I thought to myself, heck...I wonder which one I am, so I went to Google (as one does) and came across this site where one can take this test and receive a result *Snip*
I myself turned out to be an INFP aka. 'The Mediator' my test results were as followed 90% Introvert 83% Intuitive 76% Feeling 57% Prospective 74% Turbulent
what's funny about this site, is that it also notes a set of celebrities who have the same type as you do, along with a few fictional character who'd fall under said type. Celebs who are INFP for example are: Tom Hiddleston, Julia Roberts, J.R.R. Tolkien, William Shakespeare etc. Fictional characters who fall under this type: Frodo Baggins, Arwen Undomiel, Fox Mulder (X-Files) etc. now...I'm a bit curious, which of the types are you guys, and do you feel like this type fits you? If you already know your type, please comment below. If you don't know and wish to find out, feel free to click the link above and post your result Took the test multiple times in school and college and in the 15 years since... Nothing has changed: I am still a 95+ Assertive INTJ according to this website: 100% Introvert 67% Intuitive 90% Thinking 99% Judging 76% Assertive: And as I have said before... I would not take much stock in these tests if the overall score is below the 85% to 90% -to much field of varyingness... Still humans -as pathetic as we are at doing so love to classify and harbor themselves into groups... Alas I doubt we can ever escape it so be it as it may.
RL INTJ's -according to the site:
Friedrich Nietzsche Michelle Obama Elon Musk -Like looking in a mirror. Christopher Nolan Vladimir Putin -Like looking in a mirror too -only reversed! Arnold Schwarzenegger
Colin Powell Samantha Power Fictional INTJ's -according to the site:
Walter White -Breaking Bad Petyr Baelish -GoT Tywin Lannister -GoT Gandalf the Grey -LOTR... REALLY???! Professor Moriarty
Katniss Everdeen -Hunger Games 7 of 9 -Star Trek -Half expected to get the Queen instead... Jay Gatsby - The Great Gatsby NOTE: I know he isn't seen as one but Jean Luc Picard often gives me an INTJ feel

Got INTP last time I did this test, Turbulent I think
“ They love patterns, and spotting discrepancies between statements could almost be described as a hobby, making it a bad idea to lie to a Logician. This makes it ironic that Logicians’ word should always be taken with a grain of salt – it’s not that they are dishonest, but people with the Logician personality type tend to share thoughts that are not fully developed, using others as a sounding board for ideas and theories in a debate against themselves rather than as actual conversation partners.“
I definitely recognize this in myself and it annoys people a lot, leads to a lot of misunderstandings.

I ended up being a Debater (ENTP-A).
I did the Myers-Briggs a couple of years ago and ended up with ENTJ, now it's ENTP but the results say that my Tactics rating is 53% perceiving vs. 47% judging so it was a close call.
So the test seems pretty consistent all in all, not bad.

Welcome to the -not so rarest type in the world. Some do Superheros have this type: Batman and Raven in DC. Doctor Strange and Black Panther in Marvel.
Though... Villians do seem to show chaotic side of us more. Looking at you Doctor Doom Lex Luthor if only taking the older comic versions -no movie or tv version has done him him justice -irony.

I did the test a while back and got INTP-T. It's scary and kind of upsetting how accurate it is. I thought that maybe it's like the horoscope, which is so generic it would fit anyone, but it's not the case. I read some of the other types as a control and didn't recognize myself in them at all.
While we're on the topic, I read a book called Personality by Daniel Nettle that clarified what introversion is. I was under the impression introversion meant being a loner. It was confusing to me because I get it in every test I do, but I like having people around, especially close friends. According to the book, extroverted people are more likely to organise a party, but they're also more likely to get into a fight in said party. They're not necessarily better with people.
According to Nettle, "extraversion is the responsiveness of positive emotions". So the prospect of getting that promotion / award / partner is more appealing to the extroverted because they get a bigger kick out of it. They try more, which means they succeed more but also fail more. Extroverts have statistically more marriages (i.e. more partners but also more divorces). Introverts aren't necessarily sadder but a bit more "zen" (or "chill") - we don't get as big a kick out of positive prospects, so we're less likely to go for it.

The best explanation of the difference between introversion and extroversion I ever read in a book is this: Extroverts get engergy from interacting with people Introverts get drained by too much interaction.
Extroverts recharge their batteries by connecting with people like they stick their USB cable into other people. Introverts need to be alone to recharge their own batteries. Both enjoy people. But introverts only in short bursts.
Also, introversion has nothing to do with being shy. My best friend used to be a very shy extrovert. I'm a hardcore introvert and used to be the energetic one as a kid with tons of friends. Buuut I always made my friends come over. And I usually ended up crying at my birthday parties because all these people around me overwhelmed me. I could sit in my room for hours and play by myself or draw. I'm still oddly the happiest when I'm by myself or out in nature away from people.
To this day I get a "socializing hangover" from being around people too much. I get home after a night out and my head's spinning and my ears ringing and I feel like throwing up... (Mind you, not all introverts feel this bad after socializing for hours. It's a spectrum after all.)

To this day I get a "socializing hangover" from being around people too much. Yeah, that's exactly how it feels, like a hangover. Truth be told I have to pretend and adjust a lot to be acceptable and presentable in a social situation and that drains tons of energy, I definitely cannot be my ''normal'' self when interacting with people. I have to feign interest, I have to behave and try to be more friendly, I have to engage in nonsensical and tiring small talk, I have to laugh at things I don't find funny and fake humor that isn't mine (ugh). I'm rather good at it. When I don't act I come across as a broody, offensive, grumpy and awkward dude who does not like to talk to anyone - and that's bad, especially when I have to interact with company bigwigs and important customers. That's also why I'm mostly a loner, its just so tiring to act, I limit my social contacts to the essential ones at work. My point is, there is more to just being an introvert, maybe you are less introverted than you think but a lot of the energy is simply lost by trying to conform to social norms that, for your specific type of character is especially hard.

Heard this from some shrink-ex-friend sometime ago as: Chameleoning. And why I gave it up to. Why should I care what others say or think of me? Don't like me I don't care. You can expect hurt feelings. If you gonna fire me for it? Fine.
I will make a living at home.
I am who I am and that is that. Good luck ever changing me.
