Everyone has those moments: you get downed, and instead of gelling immediately, you play as intended and wait for others to pick you up, even though it is not safe enough around for a certain revive. When do you do that?
I, for example, get upset when dying to lag despite hitting and consuming an ops pack. In this case, it's the host's duty to pick me up, observing my shiny body as a proof of my troubles.

There is only one excuse. The true way to rage gel is to do it so quickly that you basically bounce back like a dribbled basketball

Bonus points if it's between waves and you died because of a Swarmer attack
Even more bonus points if you had a teammate standing right next to you and denied them a revive

3 out of 3 for me. Yay! Edit: I claim 4 if you can gel without realizing you've done it?

Opening a wave in ME3MP is like opening a game in chess, can't afford a move second of delay getting to position.

If I am the only one doing the mission (and usually there has already been a pattern of the following displayed on previous waves), especially a hack, devices, little talkative blue ball, and the rest of the so-called team is scorewhoring "securing the perimeter" on the other side of the map. I will not ragegel, nor gel.

If a teammate nukes me with possessed A Bomb or fries me in the reactor
Never happened, obviously, but if it did they'd have earned that Tbag.
Otherwise, never. Rage gel until no moar gels. If you need moar than 6 it's time to leave the lobby (probably Geth BS anyway).

I totally feel like I am in the wrong place, or in self-denial. I don't really ragegel. It's very, very rare for me. I will deliberately, and immediately gel just to stop somebody trying to save me (bad place), but that's not a case of ragegel, just trying to prevent an even worse situation. Besides, in said situation, it was clearly my stupidity or lack of awareness that caused it, should it not cost me something?

Unless I died in a bad spot where going for the revive would just create more bodies/ start a revive chain or died too far away from teammates, I'll usually wait for the rez. I do however have a habit of insta/rage gelling when an ops pack fails and just makes my body extra shiny. Heh, kind of like the opposite of burningcherry.
