Dragon Age Character Tier list.

Ah. Well in my case it comes down to.

1. I find the man to be genuinely personable and there is a lot of his personality featres I also like (his love of cats).
2. While I would never condone his actions I certainly get where he is coming from an ideological perspective and he is a good reminder that extremism in the defense of even relatively good causes isn't exactly a virtue. So from a character perspective I do appreciate how he is written even despite his actions and how he is a cautionary tale. Also see the Illusive Man and Solas as similar examples.
3. There is a certain tragedy to the character that if circumstance X was slightly different he never would have done what he did. Now we can all sit here till we are blue in the face and debate how much influence Justice had, or if it was all Anders, or if it Anders and Justice became a truly gestalt entity (unlikely this last one) but I do tend to like tragic characters that need healing or can go through changes. Even if those changes aren't always good. See also Cullen, Hamlet, and to an extent Solas.
4. I personally think his romance is maybe the best in an RPG. Certainly the best BioWare one.

It's a shame I never got into DAO because half the list is literally '' WHO?? '' but anyway.

I didn't use Leliana and Varric's double portraits didn't see the point

I separated my choices in each ranking by game, so I didn't have to agonize over them.
