The story of Kal’Hirol (A Lore Video!)

Did Harrowmont and Bhelen both have the same reactions to the revelation that some casteless had acted as warriors, I wonder? Though both are mentioned as honoring the fallen, I suspect Bhelen would make more of it.
Where does it mention the year that House Helmi reclaim the Thaig, by the way? I am planning on using Kal'Hirol in my pen-and-paper Dragon Age Inquisition campaign as somewhere the last of the Awakened loyal to the Mother are holed up, but would rather not go against canon if I can avoid it. The PCs are supposed to be helping House Helmi reclaim it.
