So I have been debating on whether to bring this up in the actual thread or no...but since it keeps oscilating between Miranda's cheeks and conversations on the ending...I kind of fear it will get lost in the frey.
So, what moments is everyone looking the most forward to playing/ experiencing in glorious 4K?
For me:
The entire mission of Virmire.
Suicide Mission
Mars (and its music)
Talking to Soverign.
Talking to Virgil.
Abigail speechyfying in Priority Tuchanka.
Curing the Genophage.
Watching Udina get punched.
Getting the Revenant and messing with it again.
Playing with the Valkyrie.

Modest expectations for a remaster that is not a remake:
Better game mechanics in ME1
Conrad's storyline not being bugged
Any other interactions that I'm unaware of, that play as they should instead of bugging out
Game bugs in general getting squashed … plus MELE patches that fix the inevitable bugs that get added to the remastered games
Graphic consistency across all three games, so it doesn't feel like I'm entering a different generation of games going from ME1 to ME2
Shepard runs loading up into the archives … so my two Shepard CCs can play across multiple runs plus import story choices relevant to NME*
*Expecting NME game imports to be no more than a few codex entries and a small number of comments from Liara about "back in the day"

Yeah there are better pieces of music in the series but nothing is more quitessentially Mass Effect then that sick techno beat. (Though Vigil's Theme, Uncharted Worlds, TIMs theme, also could belong in that category.) |

I’m really curious to see what a remastered Citadel looks like in ME1. I wouldn’t mind seeing a more crowded Presidium, or a packed night club in the Wards. I don’t expect it to be a whole lot more than just a bigger head count of mannequins, but I’d really like the station to feel more alive.
I’m looking forward to the landscape of some of the worlds we visit. I hope Luna looks crisper with higher contrast lighting like it should.

Nothing but cosmetics. Remove the blemishes only.
I am supposed to have nostalgia for this?
Mac Walters you bend the knee to the corporate EA money hungry grubbers. Then again you have always been in their pocket in my opinion.
I doubt the sincerity of this statement but if true... HA! Modders have at least caused a dent and may find ways of tweaking what there already is for the MET into this new monstrosity.
On the least I think I can say BIOWARE should be paying the modders whose mods this MELE is going to update.
Modders again short changed.
Loading times -mods already done it.
Better controls -mods already done it.
Depth of field -don't care. Bloom -don't care.

Shame on you and EA biting the hand that feeds you yet again.
Restrictions gone?

Weapon restriction is trash in any game that has us wielding guns. If I want my Adept-trained Shepard to use a sniper, there’s no reason why I shouldn’t be able to.

The amount of people complaining about this is actually a bit...trying to find the right words here...but it is something that defies comprehension really. BioWare was 100% clear with what the LE was going to be from the beginning. Way back when it was first announced, and now. A cosmetic pass. Its not like they were trying to get one over on us or misrepresent it. Anyone who is expecting it to be something different...or even wanting it to be something different...have no one but themselves to blame. Honestly this whole experience might replace the Last Jedi or the Game of Thrones finale on how fan expectations can just ruin things... for everyone...but mostly just the fans who have these really weird expectations in the first place. And yeah not everyone plays on PC so not everyone is going to be able to take advantage of mods...soo... I mean really...do we need an ME LE skepticism thread?

Playing ME1 again as a whole. Then moving to Andromeda (in my head canon we only hear what happened in MW in Andromeda and thus skip 2 and 3 completely), though I'm tempted to see if they fixed lighting (lightmaps I presume mostly) in ME2...

The preserve Shepard's body never made sense. They literally blew up his ship and let his corpse float in space and reenter the atmosphere of a back water non populated world. Now suddenly Harbinger wants his body to be preserved.
It is like a hunter shooting a deer then just leaving the body were it fell for 2 years then coming back and wanting to make some deer jerky out of the meat.

I am mostly curious to see how the tweaks to ME1 gameplay work out in practice.
Of the screenshots shown, some of it looks better, some of it works worse. So I want to see how to see how all the visual changes look first-hand to get a better sense if the visual changes are an improvement or not.

Mainly the changes to ME1, I am not a big graphics person but the game play in one was a slog for me. And I have this issue where I like to play the entire trilogy not just one game, and while I don't need 100% completion in each game, I am enough of a completionist that ME1 takes me close to 40 hours, so it had begun to impede my play throughs.

I kin dof liked ho wexplosions looked like in ME2 as I fel tthey looked almos tmovie like in the game so probably that. Also probably the whole Shadowbroker DLC as I erall yenjo ythe gameplay and graphics of that. This is assuming I do decide to get it though.

I was actually talking with my friend about it yesterday and my answer was immediate - that moment on Ilos when you enter The Archives and Vigil starts to play... I really hope that updated graphics will do justice to the haunting feeling of that place.
