Oh man are we the same person You said nearly all of what I'm looking forward to with my Vanguard. I'd add Leviathan DLC, hearing the ambiance of Noveria in ME1 again, Shepard becoming a Spectre. I think we are lol, because I love Noveria because of the ambiance. It's my favourite main mission in ME1. |

The amount of people complaining about this is actually a bit...trying to find the right words here...but it is something that defies comprehension really. BioWare was 100% clear with what the LE was going to be from the beginning. Way back when it was first announced, and now. A cosmetic pass. Its not like they were trying to get one over on us or misrepresent it. Anyone who is expecting it to be something different...or even wanting it to be something different...have no one but themselves to blame. Honestly this whole experience might replace the Last Jedi or the Game of Thrones finale on how fan expectations can just ruin things... for everyone...but mostly just the fans who have these really weird expectations in the first place. And yeah not everyone plays on PC so not everyone is going to be able to take advantage of mods...soo...

For someone who claims they don't care anymore you have shown a whole lot of caring. Quite literally the existence of the Legendary Edition doesn't effect you at all if you choose not to buy it. Yet you went into a thread asking about people who are interested in it what they hope to see and made a very long post complaining about it. That takes some effort. And to put forth effort you have to care.
I've noticed in video game community people like to use "money grab" to mean literally anything they do not personally like to the point the term has lost all meaning. A remaster has been asked for. They are upgrading the game to the limits of unreal engine 3's capabilities. They are providing all 3 games and all DLC in a single package as well as reworking some game play aspects from the first game that people often complained about. They are not just releasing the old games as is with DLC separate and charging $60 for each game. THAT would be a cash grab.

Looking forward to exploring the improved graphics of the trilogy and bug fixes the most. Some standout areas for me graphically are.
1. Uncharted world skyboxes in ME1
2. The Citadel, the Presidium is my favorite location in the games.
3. The Shadow Brokers ship exterior
4. Utukku in ME3
In terms of story I always look forward to the suicide mission, Leviathan (my favorite DLC) and the Citadel DLC.
For combat I really enjoy ME3's combat system. Since I've played the game so many times now I like to try different builds.
I'll also need to set up a few different Shepard's in the remaster. I try to play ME at least once a year, usually ME2 and ME3, so I'll need some different Shepard's to choose from when I play. So more playthroughs for me it is!

Even Kolyat is like WTF, and Bailey's so corrupt he's not even gonna pretend to care. I also like the "you think you're gonna run in a Spectre" when confronting the C-Sec officer harassing the female Quarian after being accused of stealing the credit chit. Can't remember if that's a Renegade interrupt or not.

For me, ME1 was really mostly an adventure game, combat was secondary. Then ME2 (and ME3) came along with decent combat mechanics and really captured my interest as a principle game element (in addition to the story/adventure). So I guess I am mostly looking forward to re-experiencing ME1 as a hybrid instead of (just) an interesting story. We'll see! (It will also be cool to replay 2 and 3 with better graphics).

Looking forward to the updated character creator and new look for femshep. I don't care for the official ME3 femshep but from magazine pictures it looks like they have made major improvements to Shepard's custom models. Perhaps we can even have a scar across all three games!
And then mostly all the ME1 updates. Having played with ALOT many times I'm not expecting anything really different for ME2 and ME3
