James! That's his name he's a good soldier. But I've been doing one soldier, one biotic, and one tech combo since the first game. But I will bring James along on the next mission I do. I feel bad for Ash, she got a huge promotion and chose to join me again, and she never leaves the ship only when on leave. I am already thinking about my next Shepard when I replay the series he will be a biotic. Maybe as a fellow biotic Kaiden will speak more? Kaidan's ME3 content is waaay better than Ashley's. He has plenty to say and interacts far more with the crew. He's also an incredibly powerful squaddie, especially if you are playing a biotic. Sentinels are always great, and that's essentially what he still is, but improved. Cool. I liked Kaiden in the first game but he didn't have much to say. Neither did Ashley come to think of it. Once she talks about her father she stays pretty quiet until the mission where you have to send one with the STG unit. I was thinking of romancing Ash in my next playthrough, but I do prefer character development over romance. Oh well I guess Liara will have to be Shepard's love interest again lol.

Then, I think, "Yep, so-and-so is the one for this Shepard."

Then, I think, "Yep, so-and-so is the one for this Shepard." Well in ME1 Liara won my Shepard's heart with how sweet she is. Ashley turned him off when we first visit the Citadel and she says "I can't tell which are the aliens and which are the animals?" My goal with Ashley was to open her eyes. Not to go into heavy spoilers, there is a datapad of a crewmate from ME1 in ME2 who despised the idea of recruiting aliens at first, and after the battle with Sovereign and Saren, he said he would gladly give his life for the aliens who served on the Normandy. I haven't finished ME3 yet but I'm hoping there is more dialogue with Ash that opens her eyes.

Finished the Leviathan quest which I assume was a dlc? It was pretty lengthy. But I learned something new about the Reapers.

talyn82 I do recommend romancing Tali, she's a really nice romance that leaves you pretty satisfied. I intended to romance Tali, but since I did not know she was a love interest I romanced Miranda in ME2. When Tali told Shepard how she feels he told her he felt the same, she then told him that she did not like to share and to break it off with Miranda. I agreed but either because I got distracted or did one of the companion loyalty quests, I completely forgot to tell Miranda. Before the last mission I got the Miranda love scene instead. But it's no problem I intend to replay and make different choices. Still intend to be a paragon can't act like an ass to Liara or Tali they're too sweet. As for the dlc I am nowhere near the end and still enjoyed it. I liked the humor that was put into it, and the little touches like the party and the group photo. It was a fun dlc and opened a new area to the Citadel.

Otherwise she always dies on Virmire. Kaidan is more useful in ME3 as a biotic, we already have a soldier in the squad with James and Kaidan actually has something to say and interacts with the other characters on the ship.

Having 3 biotic squaddies will increases the size of your Biotic Commando fire team by 33%. 😆 With the way combos work in ME3, it really is insane being able to chain combos endlessly with squadmates. Of course, biotic detonations aren't the only kind. Fire, cold, tech... they're all fun.

Like I said I did an N7 mission involving Cerberus, but I forgot the details. Right now I just did the first half of the Geth and Quarian quest. We just blew up the Geth dreadnaught. Edit: Oh, does anyone know what happened to Barla Von? When I visit the Citadel the map says he's at the bank, but when I go there he is nowhere to be found. Does anyone know where he might be?

As for Ashley I personally thought that out of her and Kaiden she would have the most character growth throughout the series Especially in the chest region.

ME2 allows you to break up with one romance and romance another after the Suicide Mission provided you have enough side missions left over to allow for the dialogue requirements and, before the suicide mission, you did not tell your intended new love that you were not interested in them. It is the last active romnace at the point of import into ME3 that becomes the recognized ME2 LI for that game.

Oh I did not know that, but before the Collectors attacked the Normandy, I had done every mission except killing those monkey looking creatures on Tuchanka. But it's okay it just makes me want to do another playthrough. I know we can continue to play after we complete the Suicide Mission, but I didn't think anyone had anything else to say.

You do get the troops, though, as soon as they're rescued.

Edit: Oh, does anyone know what happened to Barla Von? When I visit the Citadel the map says he's at the bank, but when I go there he is nowhere to be found. Does anyone know where he might be? Barla Von leaves after a certain point. I think he might be gone after the coup attempt. You have to collect your finder's fee before then, since he doesn't return. You do get the troops, though, as soon as they're rescued. Oh okay as long as I got the troops. I got plenty of cash in the game so if that was my reward it's no problem. I was just confused because on the Citadel map it still lists his name.

Definitely... Legion, in particular, has lots more to say. I usually leave 5 or so of the N7 side missions to be done after the SM.

Make sure to do that before curing/sabotaging the genophage

I did not know at the time that the game would continue after the Suicide Mission, so I did almost every quest except one before the ship was attacked. But now I know for next time.

I just finished two of the non-priority quests on the Quarian ancient home world. The mission where Sheppard had to enter the Geth Consensus was great. A lot of insight into the war between the Quarians and Geth. Soon I will do the priority quest.
