Oh God I hope so. Gathering all that loot just to break it down into Omni-gel is tiresome busy work lol. I'd rather console command things into the inventory and then break it down. Presonally I fee lit's worth the hard work though but each to their own. On first and second playthrough's sure. But on subsequent playthroughs, console commands make things more fun.

Personally I onl yuse console commands and cheats when I have to because I'm stuck otherwise I prefer to play things properly

Personally I onl yuse console commands and cheats when I have to because I'm stuck otherwise I prefer to play things properly In ME1 I use them to magic Spectre level 10 gear into my inventory, and then Omni-gel the rest. Plus maxing out Paragon and Renegade score.
