Does anybody know what is going on with the confusion over the release date/time that has appeared in the last couple of days?
In case anyone hasn't seen it - (I'm on xbox in the UK btw) - the game was originally listed for release at 16:00 on the 14th - then a couple of days ago Microsoft sent out emails to people who had preordered (some of the game news sites covering this seem to think it's only Gamepass subscribers who got this email) - saying the release date has been changed to 00:00 on the 13th (which is in 12 hours time here in the UK) - but on the xbox store the release date has now changed to 00:00 on the 14th.
The emails appear to be genuine (I got one - it's from a legit MS address, it had details of the date I preordered - info only MS should know, lots of other people have had them and all appear genuine) - one of the game news sites have tried to contact MS for confirmation and not posted any update yet.
I don't know if anything similar is going on with other platforms.
(And on top of that, it still only has a 21gb predownload on the xbox for some reason, even though the game page lists the file size as 81gb or something.)
