Gonna try that controller thing

I tried unplugging my Thrustmaster joystick and XBox controller and it did not help. Trying a reinstall next.

So I'm now running Windows 10 after just installing it and I still can't run MELE.

I no longer get the error message I did earlier, but it still won't run from either Steam or Origin.

Yea, I reinstalled the game on a different drive and still won't boot. Shame, I never had this much trouble simply turning the game on.

I rebooted, reinstalled, and then patched to the latest Video Card Driver.

My Windows Event Viewer has these errors every time I try to start the launcher:

Just so we're clear here, other files on the drive can be read just fine.

So... the good players over here think they have narrowed down one of the issues to the game requiring AVX support in the CPU.

Pfft. The error says "cannot access the file". Bet they just didn't include the emulation dll for AVX.

I have the same problem OP, there are threads about this on the EA forums with 'various solutions' None of which have worked for me unfortunately.

I hope they do fix it ASAP, as I'm not able to to get a refund unfortunately 😕
