I just finished the Derperus challenge by ragenuking two Guardians. Guardian points was by far the most time-consuming on Cerberus - they were at like 79% when everything else was maxed out. It just seemed to take forever what with the Atlas rockets to the face and the standard Phantom BS without seeing a single Guardian for 10 minutes.
Geth were almost as annoying as Bomber points were last and it is really annoying trying to take out one bomber let alone the fifty or so I appeared to have needed for that challenge. I started nuking spawns with a vengeance.
Rippahs and Collecturds just seemed to happen. I recall having to go after Collector Captains for a few matches but they weren't nearly as bad as Cerberus and Geth (this is the only time you will hear me say something nice about the bugs). For Rippahs I think Ravager Points was last.

Guardians, Husks, and Abombs always take the longest for me. Remember Cerby also has 21 challenges vs like 15-18 for the other 3 so it will always take longer to complete.

Geth as a faction are worse, but I think phantoms are the worst enemy. Due to this, I'd agree Cerberus is the worst challenge. Farming nemeses and guardians would be cake if phantoms weren't always about.

Collectors, they are the fastest faction to complete the mastery with but they are just so damn annoying I try to avoid them, ironically though Collector mastery is the challenge I have completed more times than the others.

i agree guardian challenge is annoyingly tedious. as for factions, meh, all have their idiosyncrasies . i can't stand Reaper critters and Ravagers even if they're easy to kill. i hate geth rocket troopers though they die fast.( hunters are despicable toot) i hate turrets ( cerberus and Prime's ). i hate swarms . i hate those for their nagging effects , it's like hearing Celiiiine in the background  |

If you are really desperate, you can run 100 enemies mod. There are tons of guardians and husks. As a shameless self-promotion, I've recently remade it to hopefully fix most of the glitches with original version. You can download it with Modmanager, code is 3334, listed at me3tweaks. Husks are always there in abundance and for more guardians, setting enemy to Cerberus or Geth is recommended. You can probably duo silver or bronze. Gold requires at least three more or less competent players and platinum is just there for show, I have not playtested it.

Ah  Guardians and Cerberus mastery, pfff  , here is the guide: The basic idea is that on silver wave3, with the right objective, there is an unlimited supply of guardians for 5 minutes and since there are no dragoons, phantoms or atlases you can harvest them without much molestation. Take GI/geth scanner with Javelin-HVB and drill rounds, pick a good camp and you can do 40k guardian points in 5 minutes standing still. (not an achievement in itself, but this mastery goal is unbalanced) I first went for Glacier, which is ok, but surprisingly, Ghost has an even better spot and thin walls, as shown above. |

A talon mercenary can be an option too, his arrow attacks are melee, have not tried as it is a pain with the controls. Unfortunately Shadow Strike does not register for melee challenge points. But a melee Brawler is fun too. |
