I bloody hope not having just bought ME3 on Origin to play the mp on pc...but I suspect it probably will, the playerbase simply isn't big enough anymore to justify keeping it up. I've been surprised how dead the matchmaking is on PC (xbox seems to have more active players but even there its not like it once was). Let's be honest who here thought they would keep it alive for this long? The game is what? 9 years old no? |

I've yet to wait longer than 10 seconds to find a gold match on PC. There are nights where I can't PUG plat on Xbox because there's no players, sometimes gold can take a bit, but usually not. |

How the hell would they know you bought MELE to support MP? Or NOT buy MELE since no MP (well, besides squawking on social media)?
On the ominous side: Anthem's weekly rotation hasn't happened this week. So either a bug, or another sign of the support apocalypse.

I have the complete opposite experience, with xbox I can join a game in seconds leave the lobby and join another lobby thats fills very quickly, I can host a game and get a full team very quickly. On PC I can find a gold game in a few second but if I leave and try my luck in another lobby I either end up joining the exact same lobby again multiple times or have to wait a few minutes. I think I have hosted 1 game so far on PC most of the time im just waiting in a lobby on my own for 10-15 mins and eventually give up when nobody joins. Feels far less alive than on xbox for me

Good point, ultimately I think the multiplayer quote was just soundbite to attract a few more potential buyers who were on the fence. I cant see them supporting any form of multiplayer for MELE, all the resources will go onto the next manifest, this was just a way of getting back some goodwill from the fanbase and creating an interest for the next Mass Effect

If it were the case, i would just set the faction or the map Or i just host and start solo and hit "disconnect" if i stay alone and it gets tedious

I'm too lazy to go find it but one of the top BW/ME people tweeted that they had no plans to discontinue ME3mp (also said they're not ruling out a ME3mp remaster, but want to see what the interest in that would be), so I'm hopeful that was accurate and its going to be going for some time yet. And if we do get a remaster, oh boy
