I just finished the Haven questline, and in the process was a little surprised by the language used by Lady Vasilia's "spirit". Am I just putting together 2+2 and making ham salad, or is there any relation here to Ander's Justice?

No literal relation, it just shows the game's interpretation of justice and vengeance: like the borders are blurred. Justice in Awakening always looked for avenge. First meeting he wanted take avenge on the Baroness, for the villagers, yet: in the Fade. Second time, when we met him in the mortal world: he wanted to take avenge on Darkspawn for Kristoff. and: Justice: You have not paid for your crime yet, mortal. Nathaniel: Still stewing over that, are you? Justice: You have been freed, but you have not offered penance. Nathaniel: Isn't being forced to listen to you, penance enough? Justice, avenge, revenge, vengeance... This always was himself – it shows. Even in the fade, even later... Corrupted? Of course, pure justice doesn't exist in the mortal world. As Anders said: Justice is hard... Bonus: "Your husband is dead, now I live in this body, but I'll avenge him..."

Am I just putting together 2+2 and making ham salad, or is there any relation here to Ander's Justice? Might ask what you mean by that? In your opinion, what relation exactly you see? ------ As I see it, Vasilia looked like a bitch who just wanted Andraste suffer and others watch her sufferings. Vengeance, as a spirit, wanted to help people and such words as "justice or avenge" had completly different meaning to him. We know the spirit wanted to help others. Even if you refuse to take Vengeance with you in the end we see what the spirit decided to do considering his words that he knows nothing at all about this world: he took care of the dead, arranged graves - he found something useful and good to do. Maybe from Vasilia's point of view it was something silimar - make Andraste suffer as Andraste was important and all - but I see her "request" as a bitch-and- evil person - move, nothing else. Justice from her point of view, psyco - for me. Unlike the spirit situation, his conversations and what is more important - his actions.
