A malicious site is attempting to infect my computer from a site open in one of the previous session's tabs. I have been scouring the internet for hours trying to find a way to open Chrome without automatically opening previous tabs with no luck.
I've tried running in safe mode (shift doesn't seem to work anymore) or administrator mode, both with no luck. I tried to find the folders that might have my tabs saved, hoping to delete the file, but everything appears to be stored differently in Windows 10 and I can't access what I'm looking for.
Edit:
I used the Windows 10 menu, right-clicked Chrome, and opened it in "Incognito Mode." From there, I accessed settings, switched it to start without opening tabs, and closed everything down. I was able to re-launch it safely.
