I saw this as a troll post on the reddit but it piqued my curiosity so much I have to know, just lore wise. Do biotics turn blue when they're angry? When they have s*x? When they feel one emotion strongly one way or another?
Just a silly lore question. But I seem to remember a squadmate commenting about them turning blue (either Liara/Kaidan), and I cannot pin it.

They have a blue aura around them when they use their biotics (that can be seen throughout all three games). They can also make the same aura appear when their biotics are powering up for potential use, as demonstrated by Liara on Noveria when Maeko Matsuo suggests securing Shepard's weapon. Non-blue biotics (i.e. non-Asari), however, don't turn blue when having sex, as shown in Miranda's romance scene with Shepard in ME2. Jack does exhibit a blue aura during the catfight with Miranda in ME2, but she's also using her biotics to throw furniture around at that moment, so I don't think it's because she's angry, but rather it's because she's using her biotics.
I don't know what any of the books or comics might imply differently. This is just my conclusion based on what we're shown within the games.

I think theres a brief scene wher Corahas a blue aura when she's kicking a box in MEA in one of you rfirst conversations with he raboard the Tempest. But again I think it's just her using he rbiotics out o ffrustration much like he Jack Miranda fight you mentioned or even when Liara confronts Javik after Thessia.

It might be something unique with Cora... who seems to have a history of not being able to control her biotics well. IIRC, she was rather naturally powerful and then sent to the Asari to bring it under control because she was considered somewhat dangerous. Conversely, Jack was conditioned with drugs and fighting to make her biotics stronger, so she may not have had issues about keeping it under control early on; and the same seems to be true for Miranda (although the nature of her training is not really discussed). Kaidan had the one slip up with Vyrnnus, but it's also not really discussed.

Biotics can flareup uncontrolled due to strong emotions or physical sensations. For example, sex alone won't make a biotic turn blue, but particularly good sex or a biotic with particularly bad self control is another matter.
