I can't remember. I used to get Legion, then for lolz bring him on Tali's mission then do his loyalty mission or vice versa and then bingo, time for the Collectors to hit. Never done LOTSB or Overload prior to end game, so just wondering if it affects the 2 mission count.

I think so. I did a playthrough where I did the Overlord missions after Reaper IFF and got abduction scene afterwards.

I normally do LotSB as part of the 5-missions before the Collector Ship triggers and it counts there as one mission. I have also done Overlord in that spot and it also counts as one mission. I've never done them just after getting the IFF, but I would be really shocked if they didn't also count as one mission each there.
ETA: If Legion's LM is the only loyalty mission you have left to do though (i.e. you've done Tali's and all other squad mates LM's before getting Legion), I think the collector abduction triggers right after that one mission, instead of waiting for 2 missions.

Correct if Legions LM is the only mission you have on your books at the end then the abduction will trigger after it. I don't normally do the DLC that late in the proceedings so can't really talk about that but I know that both Arrival and Shadowbroker each take a mission slot if you decide to do them in the 5 mission window betewen Horizon and the Collector Ship a sI have done that beforeI'v ealways done both Firewalker and Overlord fairly early so can't talk about how they'd fit in late on.

Anything with a Mission Complete screen counts.
I think in the original ME2, you could keep landing on Normandy crash site and move the memorial to a new spot, then leave and get a mission complete screen to increase the counter. I recall that being a thing at one time. Never done it myself.

I've played it during the 5-mission countdown between Horizon and the Collectorship... and it definitely counted as only one mission, despite the 4 mission summary screens. (I've checked my spreadsheet for that run just to be sure.) The first mission I did after Horizon was Overlord, the second was Tali's recruitment, the third was LotSB, the fourth was Samara's recruitment, and the fifth was Thane's recruitment.
I would be very surprised if it counted as more than one mission if done after the IFF. The issue is that you're likely to trigger the abduction right after Legion's LM unless you also hold off on doing one of the other LM's (in which case, you'd be going into the suicide mission with at least one disloyal squad member).
