I'm crawling through the Mordin's quest in the quarantine zone, the very beginning of ME2 journey. There are certain places where Vorcha (with an occasional Krogan) seems to respawn endlessly. One example is near the apartment with two human looters. Is it a bug, or has it always been this way? I don't recall dying so many times at this place in the original ME2!

Spawns are bugged. Sometimes enemies are reduced, sometimes enemies spawn in different point than they spawned in OT and sometimes more enemies spawn. Not game breaking, but can be annoying.

I kinda thought that's how its always been, enemies tend to keep spawning until you move up to the spawn area. The part where I die a lot now when I didn't before is the fight against the Colossus on Haestrom. I used to have no problem going up the right side, getting the high ground, and chilling to victory. Now it seems like way more enemies spawn in that top right corner of the map.

Like I said, enemies can spawn on different locations in ME2LE. Since I played OT more than 20 times, I memorized spawns and when I played ME2LE, I died few times because I ran into group of enemies that spawned on different location.

I've always approached from the left, in the shade, killing the Colossus from up close. I'm always pleased to read about entirely different preferences. More than one way to skin a vorcha.

I've taken every route, IMO the left route is the easiest for me, the middle route is just a pain in the ass and the hardest which is obvious but not a really fun challenge hard more irritating, the right is the most fun more challenging than the left route but offers more opportunity to push the limits. I mainly play adepts though, I suspect different class and play styles would find different answers.
