I always love how Udina.....

They didn't reuse his accent from 1 and 2. It felt like they said "It sounded too cartoony, make it more real".

I hate that.

If I had to guess, it's light Irish with a hint of Cockney and just a touch of German-gutteralness.

However, it could be toned-down similar to how public speakers (at least in English) aim for a Mid-Atlantic style.
In layman's terms, it's the "vanilla" of accents.
Still an accent, but it's very plain on purpose for ease of use and understanding.

Nothing against other accents, obviously, but maybe that's what Udina is doing, and only "slips" when under emotional duress.

Like I said, just a guess.
Still satisfying to shoot him for trying to pull a coup.

He sounds Middle Eastern to me. Has the looks too.

How about Donavan Hock, though? There's a guy who keeps you guessing. His accent shifts three or four times during one sentence. He's a master of subterfuge.

Hmm I like how we all hear so many different accents with him though. Maybe that was the point?

I knew he was Donnelly. I heard that one immediately. I didn't connect Veetor and Glyph, probably because of the electronic manipulation for Quarians and the drone.

I'm going to listen carefully for it this time. I'm early in a ME2 playthrough, so I'll get to hear both in the near future.
