Well the CSR can be used fully auto, I do it on single targets when I'm very sure I won't overheat it.
I haven't used the Valiant in a long while. And I don't think I will for some time either. Too addicted to Drell Assassinator with Harrier/Drill Rounds on Glacier.

Arc pistol is mostly going to be the better weapon if you don't mind the charge up. It also gives you a little better mod choices than the talon imo where you're sort of forced into a few different mod choices to be optimal. Arc is better on casters and hits hard as hell. Talon is great on accuracy bonus classes like the geth race and marksman kits. Imho.

Speaking of sniper rifles, what are everyone's thoughts on the Kishock. A projectile sniper rifle that punishes you for using it at long range seems a bit bizarre to me? Don't get me wrong, it always feels amazing when you get that perfect shot, but I always find the delay too frustrating.

Addendum: Kishock has no hip-fire penalty. Getting close may work.

It's bad off-host and it's bad vs bosses, because it can't do double/triple hits. And of course you can't shoot trough walls/cover, meaning you have to be in the line of fire yourself. Otherwise it's fun to send enemies flying.

While I do have fond memories of the BW, given that it was my first UR, nowadays I just can´t use it in any way, thanks to it kicking like a mule, that was forced to watch teletubbies on LSD, whilst being administered Justin Bieber for good measure. In other words, I hit more reliably with any other SR than the BW. With that said, I quite like the Indra on my HFI. With her I´ve managed to outscore a GI+JAV/BW more than once, irregardless of ammotype used. But in order to do that, you need to hit the head. I think I use the Valiant on the Drelldept, but I´m not quite sure at the moment. And then there´s the Javelin. My personal favourite. Hmm, I think it´s time for some platinum javstepping...

Don't get me wrong, it always feels amazing when you get that perfect shot, but I always find the delay too frustrating. I love the Kishock now, the double cloak bonus shot for charge up weapons game mechanic can give you very good burst damage against many bosses other than Atlases. But then again, it means everything else Cerberus can be one shot! I found the Salarian Infiltrator a bit harder to use with the Kishock, I might have to bind Proxy Mine to a different key entirely on the keyboard, its a little tricky with the mouse I have to hold left mouse, then press cloak thumb mouse button, then fire an accurate proxy mine mouse wheel press, and then leg go of left mouse. Energy drain is set to thumb mouse 3. Plus I was often having to quickly decide what did more damage in each situation - me with two cloak bonus shots every cloak cycle, or cloak bonus shot with proxy mine, plus additional damage on follow up shots for me and team... Plus I do like that depending on a target, you can ignore targets that still have say one bar of health, they will die due to bleed out. Plus the Kishock is lightweight, so I can pack on Acolyte secondary. Which I really don't even use. I find it fairly easy to headshot Phantoms even without the bubble trick that brings them to a stop.

The way I feel, the only way for it to close the gap would be to have a kit with a power that allows it to do 100% damage unscoped, or at least reduced the magnitude of that goddamned awful thing.

I just used the Jav for the first (yes, I said first) time in MP with the QFE in Condor/Cerberus/Gold with mrgoldarm. I didn't hit much but everything I did hit died. Well, except Atlases; the Jav only takes out half of their armor per shot I guess it will be awhile before I can headshot lolfantoms with it.

So how long is the delay between shots? Is it the same kind of wind-up thing that the Reegar has between bursts?

Black Widow all the things...... this is me being selfish about saying it ...cuz the black widow gave me my 1st ever completed Silver solo. I was a little scaredee cat and I used the Hydra glitch as a DemoGirl versus Geth... I also learned that day, that yes, the black widow does have a range limit..... "Come on you stupid Prime, come forward just a few more steps!"

BW is like a regular Widow or Javelin, but for people who can't aim.
Valiant's a solid rifle, esp with drill rounds for full damage multi hit glitching. Highest base deeps in the sniper class. Especially fun and satisfying to use on a kit that can area strip shields, letting you dome 3 targets with a single mag in like a second.
Indra is okay I guess, but the blinding sparks from hits are annoying, and despite being an Ultra Rare it's basically the same thing (in terms of performance and role) as the Uncommon Raptor and Incisor.

Using the BW on an Infiltrator is the same to me personally as Reegar on AIU or Harrier TGI. On Gold and below I'd just feel bad using any of those combos - makes me feel even worse than usual.

I can't help make funny gun noises in my head (and sometimes saying them) LMAO!! I can't believe I watched the whole thing. Great plot twist midway through the 7th clip. I never thought something so ridiculous was possible!!! Thanks for that! I have to go try that out myself now. Oddly satisfying

Talon is too good not to use. Shield/Barrier bonus damage, Shield gate bypass, Can snipe with the pistol (Because space magic) and not affected by weight of the heavy barrel. This by itself is one of the best shot guns in the game. Which still leaves the poor poor disciple in the trash.
