With explosive burst, is the flat damage reduction (insanity) of 50 applied to it? Also does the bonus damage applied through damage over time also get the flat damage reduction or does it just burn through armor?

Incendiary Ammo is a power so it does not receive that penalty.

For instance if I have 75% effectiveness reduction from armor piercing ammo, and then I add a armor piercing mod on my assault rifle (level V so 65% reduction); how would this pan out overall? If armor blocks a flat -50 damage/projectile on insanity, does the armor reduction work: a) multiplicatively: as in the effective armor reduction is about -50*(1-0.65)(1-0.75)=-4.3 damage reduction/projectile OR b] additively: so about -50[1-(0.65+0.75)=+17.5 damage bonus (or does it go down to 0?)

I honestly forget. I could probably find the answer online, but it is getting late where I am and I am tired. Sorry. I wish I could be more helpful on this topic. I think it's additive, with the max at 0 damage reduction (however you want to look at it). For the most part, you probably will not notice it much, depending on your build, squadmates, and weapons used. Since you mention Incendiary Ammo, if you are using the Vanguard/Soldier Shepard's Incendiary Ammo, then the rank 6 Explosive Burst evolution is good for most (or even all) weapons. It basically has a 50% chance of bursting for 100+ damage on burst. Power combos can also eat through armor very quickly. If Shepard is getting the Incendiary Ammo from James Vega, then the explosive Burst damage is 50+ damage (James gets the full 100+ damage).

Armor piercing stacks additively down to 0 with itself and multiplicatively with armor weakening.

So when using armor piercing ammo with a piercing mod it would be additive (so option b down to 0), but if I use armor piercing mod with cryo ammo (which gives 50% weakennig) it'd be multiplicative? 50*(1-0.65)*(0.50)=8.75?
