Sometimes I wonder what the shopkeepers do when they realize every other shop in the area has the same advertisement. Technically, it could be random because they talk about working it into their advertisements. In theory, the voice alone could be used to say entirely different things. But, yeah, that shopkeepers would go nuts after giving discounts to a grifter.

I usually use give the endorsement at one shop and use the renegade options to get discounts at the rest. Often I'll not give the endorsement at any since Shepard is theoretically supposed to be keeping a low profile outside the terminus systems.

Usually My paragon Sheps will usually give it to Sirta. They seem to be the most “paragon” company and they always seem to be in some financial trouble.  Besides, I like some of the other renegade options, like nerding out with the tech guy.

Sometimes I wonder what the shopkeepers do when they realize every other shop in the area has the same advertisement. They all work for the same corporation, The Union of the Shopkeepers. With Shepard giving her/his stamp of approval, all the shops can maximize their profits benefitting the suits. It's a win-win even for Shepard. At lunchtime, they get together to plan on who to have next to endorse their shop. Of course no one will come close to the Shepard endorsement.

I also like telling the hunting guy about hunting mercenary scum, etc. and him asking Shepard to bring back a geth head for a lamp (if I saved the council). That one, as I recall, gets quite a bit more confrontational if Shepard's actions in ME1 result in an all-human council.

(Though I usually wait until I am a spectre and then just get the spectre discount. )
