Okay until I bought MELE I had never played the full trilogy, so for me it was not really important which quest I did or did not do. That said, I have done everything in Original ME1 and 2 and as such I am not going to go for a 100% play-through of LE ME1 and 2. However I will try to do so for LE ME3 if I can. ( Probably not possible the in the first play-through? )
So can some one tell me which quests/missions I have to do in LE ME1 and 2, to help with war assets and story wise and such in LE ME3?

Intersting question in ME1 I'd say given these are main story quests you kinda have to do them anyway but it's moe rabout how you choose to handle them and that's Noveria and Virmire. Noveria is for the Rachni and Virmire for Kirrahe Wrex and whoever survives out of Ashley/Kaidan given that only one of them can.
The most obvious ones in ME2 are the loyalty missions because you're qsuaddies aren't giong t obe able to assist you in ME3 if they don't first survive ME2. The best way to make sure they do is to complete their loyalty quests.

I am more interested in knowing about for instance the UNC missions and if there is any use ( Outside some XP. ) for me to do those collecting missions... you know for gas/medaillons/asari writings? I know for instance that I will have to do the Geth Incursion mission for Tali so that she gets what she needs for her pilgrimage, but I personally consider her mission as part of the main story. If I like a mission I will do it,( Like BdTS. ) but if there are missions ( From UNC or something. )that do not count towards anything important ( or anything for that matter. ) in LE ME3 then I am curious to know.

Oher than the Asar iwritings and the license for Conrad's ME3 quest I don' t think so. As I think most just add XP from what I've gathered. Most of the things that affec twar assets and story are only reall yfound in the main quests from what I can gather. A tleast in all the playthrough's I've done.

If I like a mission I will do it,( Like BdTS. ) but if there are missions ( From UNC or something. )that do not count towards anything important ( or anything for that matter. ) If for you Tali's pilgrimage is part of the main story (considering "dialogue differences" if you did not give her the data and no further mentioning about that) there are some other such quests from ME1 since they change dialogues, you can meet some people depending on your choices, get some more letters with different information (Cerberus/Asari Diplomat/Rita's sister etc). No great impact on anything at all (as with Tali's quest in ME1), but, again, as with Tali's quest - more connections and reminders for you that you actually played ME1 and finished not only plot quests. You have more connection with Conrad actually (also depending what you do to him in ME2), but still, some changes you will have, story, not war assets (war assets may change if you prefer right hook and not in the mood to save untrained girl working under cover). Although, such minor changes are more interesting if you can notice them yourself when during the 1st PT you did not do those quests (or did, but had one outcome, e.g. did not help Jenna), and during the 2nd-Xx PTs you did those quests and saw the diffrence. With ME2 it is very easy and difficult at the same time - there are different outcomes depending on LMs, choices etc. Impact on the story and war assets as well, but not that great. Would say it's more about story.

Most, I think. Other than those signs of battle things. Some of them are minimal but the references are there based on your choices from ME1. If Wrex is dead in ME1 then Wreav is present in ME2 and ME3. Pretty sure the outcome is much worse than it could be in ME3. Other than that, most ME1 choices are insignificant. Sure, you get war assets from the asari writings, Conrad's presence, the Elkoss Combine license (which, since EDI could get any license on command, shouldn't have even mattered) *and* (this is rarely brought up) the survival of Jenna, but I think the war assets are minimal. I can't seem to find the number so maybe I'm wrong. Or maybe it doesn't matter since every asset counts, particularly if you're aiming for Green or Blue.

It can be found in the war asset thread. Why would every asset count to get green or blue? Blue can be chosen with very low ems, if the base is saved in ME2, whereas the green requires, if using the remaster, 6200.
