Imagine an animated adaption of the Mass Effect trilogy in this art style.
They could even bring back the original voice actors for the characters.
Should any Mass Effect series whether animated or live action have flashback episodes covering each character's backstories? I think that would be cool. For example an episode covering Jarrod's betrayal of Wrex or Saren's discovery of Sovereign.
This universe is so rich.
But is the world ready for a serious space saga that is animated or do most of society still think animation that is something that should remain "child friendly"?
Imagine if they made two versions. One with male Shep and one with fem Shep.
Unpopular opinion but I think that "Mass Effect" is something that deserves to be introduced to a wider audience including people who love sci fi but generally don't play video games.
I heard there is a rumor that Netflix is working on a anime Mass Effect series.

I'd have to see it, to judge properly, but I dislike the cartoon look. It will lack so much detail, compared to the 3D models, which are already there. Unpopular opinion but I think that "Mass Effect" is something that deserves to be introduced to a wider audience including people who love sci fi but generally don't play video games. Mass Effect was on its way to that, with ME3, until Bioware botched it. General sentiment has been majorly negative since and a lot of the endeavors to bring more ME to the public since, have been abandoned, or fallen flat since. If ME3 had been a hit, we would have seen cartoon shows, specials like Paragon Lost, more comic books, more novels, even a real Mass Effect movie adaptation.
