Hi there o/ I'm playing DA2 again after several years, and I completely forgot about the companion armor upgrades until the end of Act 2. I'm now in Act 3, and my mischievous completionist demons are jabbing their tiny spears at the empty slots. I'm so annoyed - I'm normally extremely attentive to this sort of thing!
Anyway, I wondered if there was a way of adding the missing ones via the console? I've tried adding them with additem 'item name' 'number' and the same without 'number' but this doesn't seem to work. It's possible that because I can't actually see the console text, and the item IDs are so long, I've just mistyped the line repeatedly, but it's impossible to tell - argh. So I thought I'd ask here, *just* in case I'm doing it wrong or it's just not possible.
I would flipping LOVE a mod that adds a chest to your house with all the missables, because this aspect of the game design is unforgiveably irritating.
Many thanks in advance!
(Anders says 'Hi' and Fenris growls a grumpy 'Hello' too)

There's a tool named WADDI, essentially a custom script which allows to search the game data for items and allows them to be picked from a sort of temporary container.

Thank you thank you thank you!! This is EXACTLY what I was after and I would never have found it without your help. What a brilliant mod it is!
Mischievous demons have slunk away and all companions are ready for anything.
Thank you so much for taking the time, very much appreciated!
