In ME1 when looking for Admiral Kahoku we infiltrate a Cerberus lab that either turned people into Husks, or were studying them. My questions are: Did Cerberus know about the true nature of the Husks so early in the timeline? Or was it simply just BioWare thinking it would be cool to add Husks for that encounter, since they did not know they would be making Cerberus a legit faction later on?

IMO the Elusive Man and most likely others within Cerberus were indoctrinated from his discoveries during the events of Mass Effect Evolution. Evolution of course taking place during the first contact war. During that time they came into contact with reaper tech and thus under the influence of the reapers, started experiments with creating Husk.

In those comics I never read we know TIM encountered Reaper tech as far back as the First Contact War (or thereabout). His eyes are based on Reaper tech. So, yes, I believe TIM was aware of Reapers and husks long before the rest of humanity.

The evidence is right there and TIM actually has a low level Synthesis thing going on with his eyes. I'm not talking about regular cybernetics. I'm talking about Reaper tech. No one survives long-term contact with Reaper tech without being indoctrinated.

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

The best part is that he served under General Williams, ran into Saren and his brother and Bioware decided to f--- all that potential for Ashley character in ME3.
