As the title says, is there any evidence in Inquisition of there having been Venatori influence in the growing conflict between Mages and Templars in Kirkwall? Could they have indirectly influenced the events which led to so many mages resorting to blood magic and turning Kirkwall's Circle of Magi into a corrupt institution? I'm aware some of the Templar's abusive treatment toward mages was also responsible for the status quo degenerating into a state of chaos, but the fact that the Venatori suddenly emerge in Inquisition as Corypheus' main supporters when we hadn't even heard of them in the past 2 games seems suspicious, to say the least. We never did learn who gave Anders the idea of blowing up the Chantry. Could it have come from an infiltrated Venatori in the Mage Underground? And could there have been infiltrated agents in Kirkwall, even within the Circle of Magi, responsible for fueling the mages' revolt and teaching them all sorts of forbidden blood magic? I mean, what IS the Mage Underground? And doesn't infiltrating the Underground (as well as other institutions of magic) seem like the easiest way for Tevinter mages, eager to sow chaos in the South, to sabotage the Chantry, the Circles of Magi and make it easier for a future takeover?

Well corypheus was "asleep" until hawk woke him up so it would have to be the venatori pre him. Honestly I doubt it purely because bioware didn't invent the venatori until DAI so they didn't exist for the dragon age team when they were making DA2.

I thinmk i twas explained thsa tthere was a group caled the resolutionists accordin gt oLeliana an tha tit was them behind the unrest there. I don't thin kit had anything t od owith Venator ias a tbes tthey'd hav jus tbeen being formed a tthis staqge either by Calprenia or Corypheus depending on when Hawke woke him. Which genreall ychanges based on whe nyou do the Legacy DLC in your playthrough

Well the "Venatori" as we know them were not really a thing before Corypheaus's release. But we do know from Samson's short story that Corpyheaus took advantage of the chaos after the events of DA2 to gain access to red lyrium and loyal followers respectively, often preying upon those who have been thoroughly disillusioned by the mage-templar conflict.

It's not entirely clear that the Venatori existed during the first two games: for all we know, Corypheus could have founded them after his release at an indeterminate time during DA2. (It's not explicitly stated that he did found them, but I'd assumed all this time that he likely had.) That said, it wouldn't shock me at all if it turned out that Corypheus's prison near the city was putting out an aura of crazy that made Kirkwall worse than it otherwise would have been. So if nothing else, they were likely related problems.

No "evidence" – but a great possibility.

The Venatori didn't exist during Kirkwall's rising tensions, but that doesn't rule out the possibility that the Resolutionists had backing from Tevinter.
