Thanks for all the updates! Out of cover DR. Hmmm, if there were room, I'd suggest listing as such ("Damage Reduction (out of cover)"), rather than just "Damage Reduction", which disagrees with that in the power section. As is, implies one of them is wrong. Writing of updates, my wishlist would include ... 1) Difficulty toggle/pulldown (Bronze to Plat) 2) Removal of the 84 pt limit (not that I would ever exploit this ) cheers

You see, the Andromeda builder tries to present everything and ends up incomprehensible. I'm not planning to remove the limit either because the editor is intended for legal builds and I keep it this way. On a more pleasant note, the cryo buff to Incinerate and ConcShot is working: kalence2.github.io/#33!111!211!!.D1..5

Now you can see total out-of-cover damage reduction on the character summary panel: kalence2.github.io/#1A!3B0!!......83!18..FP Is that mean, that coollector would resieve more dmg in cover when his resistance values are negative?
Thank for what you doing!
UPD: raged Kroguard has to be immune to damage 5 second after charge if he takes cover?

No because of the out-of-cover damage modifier to enemies. Basically, how DR works, it that it's not always subtracted from 1, but it's subtracted from a cover modifier that equals 1 when in cover and 1.4 when out of cover. "Out-of-cover penalty to DR" is a messy way of putting this that can cause some confusion when considering the difference between in-cover and out-of-cover but still gives a better idea of what's going on during normal gameplay. Yes. Melee can make you invincible out of cover.

Amaizing work! Awww, weapons now being 1st/2ndary by the gun type. +1 on the "Amazing work!" So, is it a universal rule that the weapon slot #1 priority is: AR > SG > SR > SMG > HP Or does it depend by class and/or kit? (from my limited testing of what you have in Kalence2, it appears to be universal)

I surely hope it's universal.

I'm guessing the reddit incendiary post is yours? I guess I can see why they didn't do it the "right way", as that means they'd have to track separate DOTs on as many as >100 shots (Marksman with a high ROF weapon over 3 seconds). But maybe I'm being too charitable Is damage really 3x what it should be on all weapons? Or is that just from that Marksman/Phaeston test in old BSN?
I'm wondering if it is also a fcn of how many shots were fired in the 0.5 sec tick interval, so the Marksman (and Reegar) may be extreme examples. For example, if I'm not mistaken, Explosive Rounds damage is based on #shots*dmg/shot over the interval before it triggers? 10 years in, and I can still get confused about these things. And in the heat of battle, it all goes to cr@p anyway (for me at least).

I took a look at your site's Human Vanguard. Nova 6A text says increases dmg by "{Powerdamagearmor%}" instead of "100%". It shows correct multiplier for barrier and shields, but no increase for armor. Is that a bug on your site, or in the game code?
I checked this since I'm still unsure exactly how Nova, and especially the 5b Half-blast rank work. Is this correct: 1) Nova's barrier depletion just depends on the % max barrier, not the actual (buffed) value. For example, assuming regular (not half-blast) Nova: Base character has 500 barrier. Nova will consume it all Character with full fitness barriers and cyclonic 4 would have 1575 barrier. A Nova still consumes it all 2) Similarly, Nova damage scales with % of max barrier remaining(?). (same Nova damage whether 500 max barrier or 1575 max barrier) But if I'm at 50% barrier (whether 250 or 787.5 in the above two examples), Nova only does 50% damage??
If #2 is correct, the second Nova from "half-blast", if done immediately after the first, does less damage since barrier is depleted.
Do I have that all right?

But maybe I'm being too charitable I agree, what they were trying to do makes sense. I got it from some quite complicated equations and then confirmed in simulations, though it may vary a bit in the game itself. I have no idea how explosive ammo works. I took a look at your site's Human Vanguard. Nova 6A text says increases dmg by "{Powerdamagearmor%}" instead of "100%". It shows correct multiplier for barrier and shields, but no increase for armor. Is that a bug on your site, or in the game code? Bug on the site, should be corrected now. I believe this is right.

I'll say it again: great update!
Now a couple of potential corrections: 1) What you call "piercing" damage should be "penetration" damage, right? Piercing is the armor reduction reduction. Penetration is going through solid objects.
2) I think your "piercing" damage on armor may be wrong. It looks like you treat the "piercing" modifier as global including the armor penalty. The damage formula I'm familiar with has the armor penalty as absolute (except for resistance multipliers), i.e. you have: damage = (weapon damage - 50 armor penalty) * (1-"piercing" reduction through object) but it should be: damage = weapon damage * (1-"piercing" reduction through object) - 50 armor penalty
That is, if you have a Mattock X with piercing mod V, the damage vs. Gold armor should be 129.5 - 50*(1-0.65) = 112 which you show correctly. The "piercing" damage should be: 129.5*(1-0.4) - 50*(1-0.65) = 60 But you have: [129.5 - 50*(1-0.65)] * (1-0.4) = 67
Maybe yours is correct, in which case the old wpn damage formula is not implemented in the game as shown.

Let me add a couple cents. 1. Drell Infiltrator's starting encumbrance is +30%, not 60. 2. Collector assault rifle is a non-DLC weapon. 3. Engineering kit and omni-capacitors increase dmg of a combat abilities, not tech (exclude decoy, overload, SS and cain mine).

Okay, let's try this again:
On Encumberance: I just checked a bunch of classes, and they are all reading higher total %, almost all +30% (faster cooldown), than expected. I had mods installed, so I attempted to restore all defaults. No change. Did I break something ... or did BW?
On Engineering Kit: Whaaaat? Is this really true?

I personally tested Engineering Kit with a sabotage and... Supply Pilon. It's not bugged in game.

Ah, I see what you are saying.
Kalence2 is incorrectly NOT applying Engineering Kit to some tech abilities (example: not applying on Incinerate). Kalence2 is also incorrectly applying to some combat abilities (example: applies on frag grenades).
Good catch!
