I've started to play Dragon Age Inquisition and have a couple questions relating to attributes and worried about a potential glitch.
I'm playing the game on PC and game is patched to its latest version. When I start with a rogue class I take note of the Dexterity attribute being 14 and keep track of how it increases when I invest in passive and active feats. For example, upgrading to 'Dance of Death' results in unlocking 3 dexterity so my dexterity went up to 17. I wasn't wearing any gear that had an influence over dexterity stats (still early in game) but I've tried this twice so far and noticed that at some point around level 4 or 5 (in Haven) my dexterity is 18 (where it should be 21 as I have invested two feats giving me 6 dex total and have base stat dex of 14 plus 1 point for level up?). If I use technician's renewal and reset my skills the total dexterity of my base character is 12, less than my original 14.
Confusion about stats, main point is that I seemed to have lost 2 points from original 14 because when I reset my dex base was 12.
This leads me to ask a few questions.
1. When you level up do attributes automatically increase? Example, if you're level 10 and you choose to reset all your skills, would your new base stat be higher than it was at level 1?
2. Am I glitched on PC if it seems I'm losing two dexterity points around Haven area at level 4 or 5?
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could please lend some insight into this?
My ultimate concern would be that for some reason my characters would be glitched and on level up I don't get the assigned attributes and instead lose points.
I doubt that Bioware is going to update a patch anytime soon, and I'm aware there's still bugs in the game but while this bug doesn't seem to be game-breaking I'd rather get it sorted early on.
I hope it doesn't have anything to do with rogues being glitched because I dig the dual blade aesthetic.
