So as some of you may know I have been working on a fanfic/spin-off of sorts (my own headcanon) that takes place post ME3 'breath scene', following many games where Jack has been my romance, and early on in the story I'm trying to detail a bit of what Shepard's rehab/recovery process may look like since he survived the explosion of the Citadel. And actually....that reminds me of another detail I have to change: I had originally written that he was taken to Huerta Memorial on The Citadel, but at this point in time merely two weeks after the Battle For Earth, the Citadel would have been destroyed and (according the the slideshow of the Extended Cut, in the process of a rebuild), so Huerta Memorial would not be an option for surgery or post-op recovery......So I have to change that to Shepard being taken care of on the flagship of either the Alliance or the Asari, maybe even Turians.....anywhere but the Citadel. (Note to self).
However, moving on.....Once he is released from 'hospitalization' wherever it happens to be, Jack escorts him back to his apartment (also, which I need to change. Damn it.).....ANYWAYS....my real question is, once he is cleared to leave medical care and told to start a rehab program....What should that look like?
If canonically it made sense to use his apartment as the setting for his rehab...I had some scenes planned out in my head. But as the apartment is likely destroyed and would be in need of a full rebuild from the ground up, it makes more sense to have Shepard's rehab take place aboard either Normandy or a capital ship like the Destiny Ascension or the Turian flagship....or anywhere else other than Earth or the Sunset Strip of the Citadel.
But hat do you suppose his rehab program would look like? (Please bear in mind that Jack is overseeing his rehab and recovery, and she would undoubtedly be as strict with Shepard as she is with her students' training)....Sooooo ideas...? (please share!)
If you are inclined to writing or just have ideas that you think would work....I would like to hear them as I am looking for ideas.
November 27th 2022: I'm curious..... Are any of Jack's "sisters" alive? Did they survice the Cerberus Raid on Telton or the raid on the planet where she was born? (I forget the name).
*I checked the Art of MASS EFFECT and looked at the concept art for Jack in ME 2 (specifically her tattoos) and I saw that the one depicting her "sisters", her gang family, there is fine print stating "Jack's Sisters- her murdered gang family".
Now I'm struggling to come up with a major antagonist for my story; I want them to be someone tied to Jack's past.
