Hi there. I was wondering if anyone knows a work around for this.
The player profiles used to update your DAO characters to the keep seems to be defunct. No new characters are being sent to the Keep
Dragon Age 2 seems to be fine.
I've tried a number of things, including making new characters in game, and just now making a character in the DAO character creator app, downloaded from the Wiki.
The app lets me create a character and offers a way to upload it to my profile, but when I do that, it says my character limit is maxed out.
I don't see any way of reaching the player profile info to fix this, if that is even the problem. The app has a link to the player profile but it's the old site and no longer works. (go.bioware.com)
It's not the end of the world if I can't get it to work. I can use the keep and just use a default character, but I thought I'd ask.

Hm...maybe an odd question, but are you using the (cheat)console in DAO? Oftentimes my DAO characters don't upload when I have that activated otherwise I wouldn't know what might cause it or how to solve it

DAO characters still upload fine, at least for PC. The best procedure for uploading custom Wardens is to * start the game without the developer console enabled * log in to the Bioware/EA server on the start menu screen * open a save from the Warden to be uploaded * remove (and optionally, replace) at least one piece of the Warden's equipped gear * make a new, hard save (not a quicksave!) in a new slot Your Warden's details (portrait, name, class, origin, race) should appear in the Keep after a few hours, though sometimes it does take as long as a week for the Keep to update.

Yeah I found that guide and tried all that. I'll give it some time, thanks I also tried the character creator and uploading it manually from there. I got the message your character upload limit is maxed, so that's probably the problem, I just can't log on to the player profile to fix it.

I tried uploading from the standalone character creator, and it did work for me... took about 3 hours for the new Warden to show up.
There is a apparently a limit on how many custom Wardens the Keep will support, but I have never gone beyond 14, so I have no idea what that upper limit is.
You won't be able to log in to your account via the 'Online Profile' selection in the CC, because that links to the old Bioware Social Networks site, which doesn't exist any longer. (Hence this site... )
If you do have an excess number of custom Wardens in the Keep, try clearing some out there, since that's where the uploads are going now... that may free up a slot for you to upload your new Warden.
New custom Warden (definitely NotAl Cousland) in standalone CC: and in the DA Keep:

Thanks for the help! I only had 11 DAO heroes uploaded. I deleted a few that I didn't need, so see if it syncs now

Hi just giving some followup. Deleting a few characters from the keep worked. I imported from the character creator. Thanks!
Importing from game doesnt seem to work though. The character limit seems really low now
