As the title says. the game will load and than kinda freeze real quick than boom... I'll be just standing there at the start of the fight no talking from ser perth or anything and the zombie's are just chilling at top until i go up to them and than they will keep coming and coming? also the wrong music is playing. I swear i've had this happen before and manage to fix it but can't remember how I did.

If you are playing on PC, do you have any mods installed? If so, what are they? Certain combinations of mods can cause the issue you've described (lag, no cutscene, endless waves of undead)... the issue is caused by having too many mods which utilize a function called Event Manager.

Can turning mods off mid playthrough cause Event Manager to mess up? like I know turning mods off in skyrim mid playthrough will normally cause bad things to happen ,but I never really had issues with Dragon age. I uninstalled qwinn's fix pack before going to redcliffe because it was causing other issues and everything was going fine (other than Bella fusing dialogue when asking about Berwick).
I ask this cause My last playthrough played fine and I had a crap ton of mods than as well the only other thing I had this time was qwinn's fix pack. witch I uninstalled mid play.

Some mods can be removed mid-playthrough, and others can't. That's whether they use Event Manager or not.
I'm not sure which category Qwinn's fixpack falls into, since I don't use it.
