Hey all, Maybe I've missed it somewhere but I was wondering if anyone knew the % chance or formula for Incendiary Ammo to prime for Fire Explosions? Does it follow the same formula as Cryo Ammo? bsn.boards.net/thread/19173/me3-cryo-ammo-guideFreeze Chance = 60 / (Effective Rate of Fire) Freeze Chance = 78 / (Effective Rate of Fire) (with the Rank 2 Freeze Chance bonus) Freeze Chance = 108 / (Effective Rate of Fire) (with the Rank 6 Freeze Chance bonus) Just from my experience, I am not sure. Sometimes it feels like a single shot from even a rapid fire weapon will set a target ablaze for a Fire Explosion so it feels like it's higher than Cryo. The closest I could find was the Mass Effect Wiki page stating that Explosive Burst had a 50% chance to proc, but of course that is separate from the chance of Incendiary Ammo to prime for a Fire Explosion.

If you are talking about ME:3 (specifically the MP) then incendiary ammo primes after it did a certain amount of damage: Post by Capn233There should be more info in that thread. I'm almost sure that ME3 SP and LE3 follow the same formula as the multiplayer. If you are talking about ME:A, then: Yes the prime rate of incendiary ammo depends on the weapon's rate of fire, with lower fire rate weapons priming with fewer shots. You still need at least two hits to prime though
