Aside from ME: Andromeda I'm most looking forward to Divinity Original Sin 2, other than that though... I guess I would be excited about Cyberpunk if we knew anything about it, as it is I barely give it a thought at the moment.

I helped fun a game off kick starter that I'm excited about. They moved over to fig to get it funded, and it got funded there. Consortium 2.
Besides that, the only game I can honestly say I'm excited to pick up is the new Deus Ex game. But I'm a bit hesitant too, as I hear its incredibly short, and it has stupid micro transactions. So while I'm interested, those 2 things give me pause.
I'm also hesitantly curious about the new Dishonored game. The first one was great, so I'm hoping the second one is good too.
Besides that, I can't really say I'm excited about any games coming out nowadays. I've been playing an old gem recently (Freelancer for PC), and that games old risks made me realize how homogeneous games are becoming. Trying to appeal to the broadest mass of folks making them less and less characteristic.

Shadow Warrior 2 - Borderlands with katana and limbs flying all around. SPAZ 2 - I've read some early access reviews and people on Steam are so stupid it's not even funny. Darksiders 3 - If it's gonna happen, that is. Phoenix Point - All things considered, this one could easily eat all my free time and then some. And that project Blizzard is working on that is supposed to be next Diablo.

Mafia III is off my list. I sat through a 12 hour stream just now.
What's good in what I saw : VA, cutscenes, story content in the first few hours, facial animations, lip sync.
What's bad : repetitive grinding missions as zones are opened. It's just basically drive to A; kill. Drive to B; burn / destroy. These took up a heavy chunk in the other half of the six hours. Even when the protag advanced to stage two, it's still the same thing. Near the end of the stream, reloading of one mission took a long time. It happened twice. Amid fears of a glitch, the streamer noted that there're only two options in the main menu; continue the story or begin the game. If the mission fails to load, he has to restart, losing essentially 12 hours of gameplay. This didn't happen but it could, pointing out the glaring epic fail of this game; no manual save points.
What's laughable. Game is tied down to 30 fps though they're working to patch this. The graphics is sometimes good with the bad smacking you right on the face.

Mass Effect Andromeda ( Obvious reasons )
The Elders Scrolls : Skyrim Remastered ( Never played it, bought the original supercheap at a steam sale so I would receive the remastered edition for free )
New Age of Wonders DLC ? ( Triumph speaks about a super secret project, long time fan of the game so here's hoping )
Dead Rising 4 ( Frank West returns !! )
And these might still be far away but :
Cyberpunk 2077 ( Witcher fanboy, they raised the bar with W3 imho so I am excited for their next project )
New Dragon Age game set after Trespasser DLC ( Obvious reasons )

Right now I cannot think of anything save for Andromeda. I did buy into Revelation Online CBT, but basically my heart quit on it before I've even started. I've browsed around, but I just don't see anything that makes me go wild. I have an odd taste, it's not at all my fault.

He's lucky the game make backups for the last few check points otherwise he would have to repeat more than 20 hours of play. However, it makes no sense devs nowadays do not put in a manual save system.

Getting this for my son (and myself to a lesser degree) Very likely the last Videogame I'll ever buy. The DLC/broken product/EA bullshit has simply become too goddamned ridiculous...

Picking up Battlefield 1 (pre-ordered) later in the week, it'll be interesting to see how they depict WW1.
Some others include: Dishonored 2 Horizon Zero Dawn Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Zelda BotW Vampyr Detroit Become Human

Maybe they can only handle so many save slots? It's a mess because you always have to expect some bugs somewhere.

I understand the point if it's a horror game with limited save points; you'd want to up the ante / suspense. The prudent devs would put more safe points in a tough area. But SW2 is a hack and slash (the story, chars and banter is interesting btw). You have to bulldoze your way through dozens and dozens of mobs and bosses that get tougher and tougher in the second half of the game. There should be save points but no, it's auto checkpoints that gives no hint as to when they kick in. So you die and load and hope to h*ll you won't have to rinse and repeat a shipful of mob slashing. Some find this fun; yay, more to kill and show off my Wang prowess. But others will find it a grind. * I'm hyped for Dishonored II. Another two weeks or so. The only game I'm looking forward to this year.

I was not hyped for Titanfall 2 at all before, but boy, after seeing the reviews and these latest videos, I can't help not being.
The first Titanfall despite being lackluster in a quite few ways and dying out in a matter of months after release, that game had the most pristine controls I have ever experienced in gaming - parkour-ing, running around and shooting plus the smooth transition from pilot to titan combat were such a delight. Titanfall 2 seems to bring all of that, lots more variety, more Titans, sick looking maps, geez. It is a shame EA games are absurdly expensive in my country, I am already saving up for Mass Effect Andromeda. But I hope to buy Titanfall 2 when it goes on a sale or something.
