Hey guys, do you know any tricks to get ME3 MP running a bit better on an old PC (Core i3-2310M / Nvidia 640M)? I've set everything to the lowest in the ME3 Config Editor (except for 8x anisotropic), resolution is 1366x768 (native for the laptop), Origin in-game is off. FPS is in the 20s and sometimes lower, and the graphics is still too good

Looks like there could be room for a trade-off.

Also, at what time is there the most activity these days? I've found one lobby after half an hour waiting, and now another half and nothing (Gold).

Try a lower resolution and having less programs open. If you use discord to talk to people maybe using a phone with small earphones would be an ok alternative. Or just mod the game for in-game text chat.

Alternatively you could edit ini files (back up first) to maybe edit visual options. Maybe you could v-sync the game to hit 30fps. But I’m dumb and I’m sure someone smarter could explain ini editing better.

In the mean time, play on host and enjoy easy mode platinum. Lower fps = slower AI

i struggled a lot with sub par PC in the old days, but i dont remember much. But yeah, basics are to kill everything not ME related running on the PC, editing graphics setting and i kinda remember using a old nvidia soft which was helping at optimising the laptop. Last versions of this soft might say your setup is not supported
