I haven't seen it brought up before, and I don't know if it has any real implactions but I think it's neat. Only just noticed it yesterday when I was testing out Rift Mage and I thought I saw something inside the little hole created by the Pull of the Abyss spel. So I cast it again, paused it and had a little look around it by rotating the camera and yeah, The Black City is just...there. Given what we know about that place it's at least a little bit creepy Solas (and potentially the Inquisitor) can open up a hole near it at will lol

You should remember part of the lore is, that in the Fade the Black City is the one thing that is constant and ever visible wherever one might be in the Fade. I mean, look at the Fade portions in Origins, it's always there floating in the sky. So I suppose it'd make sense for a spell that has you essentially tap into the Fade also has the Black City visible  |
