Good day everyone,
This is my first post on this forum, just yesterday I was forced to to install the EA app in order to keep using my games and while testing the Original version of the first Mass Effect I found out that the game always freezes about 30-40 seconds after launch or so. Needless to say, this renders the game unplayable.
Does any of the Mass Effect owners on these forums have a solution to workarround in order to get the game running? Very much thanks in advance!

I also had to upgrade to the new EA APP today. I tried both the Original ME3 and the Legendary ME3 and i hade no freeze Problems. The only thing i noticed is that it takes much longer till the game is starting

I had a similar problem with DAI. What worked, at least for me, was running steam and the app as administrator.

I had a similar problem with DAI. What worked, at least for me, was running steam and the app as administrator. Sorry for the delayed response, but trying out your suggestions worked for me and the game now appears to run without incident, very much thanks!
