Wanted: Button for Screenshots!

A built-in screenshot cam would be nice - I think we are actually gonna be taking in-game pictures, going by one of the more-reliable leaks, but it sounds like that'll be an in-universe sorta thing, rather than a straight-up screenshot tool - but I doubt we'll get one. Both major consoles have built in screenshot functionality, and there's a massive number of options for taking them on PC, from Steam to Windows 10's built-in Xbox application/game recorder bar thingy.

The only nice thing about screenshots in unreal is having the engine crank out the high res ones (tiledshot)... I used FRAPS until last year, when I switched to Dxtory. If FRAPS ever updates again, the loop buffer is a feature totally worth going back for

What they (EA) seriously needs to do in Origin is to implement these features and include cloud storage with it. I've been screaming about it for about the past six - eight months, but have gotten nowhere.

I always run everything windowed and borderless. So many problems (from minor to serious) disappear.

As said above. I push the share button on my ps4. playstation master race

All I do is copy screenshots to a USB flash drive then download them to my computer. Upload images to whatever site and copy them to a forum

Honestly I don't care. I always have 3rd party software running in the backround for that kind of stuff anyways. But that's just me.
BTW, with that new Origin update didn't they introduced some sort of "screenshot" feature like Steam did since day one?

On Xbox I do the double-tap (xbox button) and Y for screenshot (or X for video). It's not as easy as pressing a singular dedicated button but you know, it's still absurdly fast.

Also I can get the screenshots almost immediately from sites instead of having to do USB witch craft.

...and PC has had print screen since forever so whats this about again? Everyone can take screen shots and slap them up onto places with varying degrees of time spent to do so.

Never actually posted a screenshot to this forum before... hmm. Hope yall don't mind a quicky test. Got a resent DS3 screeny imma post see if it's to big or whatever.



edit: Huh, guess it auto fits that's nice. So yeah, one nice thing about XB1 is all the screens/videos are uploaded to MS site or other storage so I was able to just use the pictures link.
