Combat Drone Chain Lightning rank 6

"Rank 6 has 6a Rockets and 6b Chain Lightning. 6a Rockets allow the Combat Drone to attack at range instead of moving towards the enemies. 6b Chain Lightning boosts the lightning attack to hit up to 3 (not 4, the in-game description is wrong) targets instead of 1. Remember that this lightning attack can stun. You do not need the Shock evo to stun.
While 6a Rockets allow you to attack at range, it will also cause the Combat Drone to move away from enemies since rockets do not work at close range. This will negate Detonate, Shock and lightning attack since these are all close range attacks."

Well I peronsally detonate, shock & chain lightning. Cooldown is fast so having a disposible drone is ok.

Shock does state that it deals 100 damage (at base wit nothing else spec'd) so I would assume that damage is also added to the multi-shock (will assume that Kalence2 devs will know more about that). Either way you might be looking at a better DPS with Detonate CQB.

Now, if cool down is a problem, like say... Volus Sentinel.... maybe rockets with sheilds and damage is the better choice.

I noticed on Kalence2 that the shock damage on rank 5 does increase with you use Shields & Damage on Rank 4. So I'd have to ask. What's the base damage of chain lightning and what affects it more? 5a or 5b?

Good question.

Chain lightning is just the drone shock but dealt to multiple targets. Its base damage is the same as the shock attack, and is boosted by 4A and 5B.
That said, I think 4B is the superior evolution, and I don't take 5B as it conflicts with 4B.
