The combo system has been around since DA:O, and has been iterated upon in nearly every subsequent Dragon Age title (as well as making its way over to Mass Effect and Anthem). As it currently stands with DA: Inquisition, each character class provides a unique Primer/Detonator benefit, with specific combinations dealing various elemental damage, or triggering status effects.
In all instances, these combo's are normally meant to be detrimental to the enemy. I've been wondering if there should be a combo-style system that provides benefits for the player and their party. Only thing I can't wrap my head around is how that would be facilitated. The most obvious answer is through various spells and buffs. To give an example, if one were to use the War Cry ability on players with Barrier, maybe it would provide a new effect: Magic Reflect. It would either give a large damage negation bonus on the first magic attack the player/companion gets hit with, or it could even negate it entirely.
Just fishing for ideas here.

SO, cross-class combos that boost party members, rather than combos that deal damage to enemies, the way cross-class combos work in DA2, DAI, and ME2 and 3. It sounds like it could potentially be a fun system to explore, and I think its clearly feasible, but its anyone's guess whether that's something the production team is interested in implementing (afaik, at least)
