Hi there, I just got some general questions that I been meaning to talk about with others for years! 1) Where was the Gardian Laser scene against the Collector Fighters? 2) Why didn't the Cyclonic Barrier block the weapons of the fighters if the post upgrade states those new barriers were suppose to be strong enough to survive the shots that killed the first SR1? 3) Why didn't TIM send Shepard back up once Shepard lost his crew/send more ships in if we know TIM had Reaper IFF tech already installed on several of Cerberus ships in Shepard dies but keeps the base scene?

1) I don't think we see either Normandy ever fire GARDIAN Lasers? The Collector Oculi craft that are destroyed by the Normandy are shot down by 'conventional' mass accelerators (or are those supposed to be torpedoes? IDK ) I'm not sure what kind of accuracy you expect for the answer to where. This fight happens in a debris field between the mass relay and collector base orbiting a/the black hole near the center of the galaxy - possibly supposed to be Sagittarius A*. I don't think there is more information than that.
2) Oculi use particle beam weapons, which bypass kinetic barriers as the individual particles have not enough mass. A reaper's main liquid iron weapon would actually be more affected by ship's barriers.
3) That is a good question. I'd guess that by that time most of Cerberus funds still went into Lazarus and the Normandy, so Cerberus did not yet have the massive fleet it has by ME3. And the other ships they have probably are not as well armed and armoured as the Normandy, nor do they possess the stealth capabilities of the Normandy. The original 'plan' for the suicide mission was for the Normandy to stealthily get to the collector's main base of operations and destroy it. Sending more ships that are no help during a fight but give away that there is trouble inbound probably did not seem helpful to TIM.
