nvidiaprofileinspector.com/nvidia-profile-inspector-2-3-0-13-download/^ At that link you will find the most up to date NVidia Profile Inspector. https://gist.github.com/starkgate/70b8ee9e45f49d9576451aaee3dae053^ At that link you will find link for NVidia Inspector and what Settings to use for Mass Effect 3 (for what settings, I also posted that image here), as well as Mass Effect 1 and 2. Game looks a lot better with Ambient Occlussion, so enjoy. PS- Make sure you use Hawken for Ambient Occlusion Compatibility, as describbed in this image; ^ If you're noticing a performance dip with Ambient Occlusion, can change from Quality to Performance under Ambient Occlsion setting. Among other things you can tweak around with. But changing from Quality to Performance makes a big difference in performance.

Just an FYI, That's an older version of profile inspector. Things are arranged slightly differently. But the options are still there.

can someone post comparison screenshots or video? Game is fragile enough without more graphical modding. Want to see if it's even worth doing

Want to see if it's even worth doing Seeing two screenshots I grabbed together, maybe I exaggerated on the difference? But here are the two screenshots for you to compare yourself. ^ Open each image in a new window tab, then flip between the two tabs. Second image is with Quality Ambient Occlusion. EDIT - Decided to also screen grab the Performance Ambient Occlusion. Will post under this;

I'll pretend I didn't read that. But maybe does seem to look better in motion (I do recall being increase in visuals more for Fallout New Vegas. Testaent to how well ME3 looks out of the box). Alas, it does run my graphics card (1660TI) pretty hot turning that on at 4k resolution 60fps, so, yeah... it's not always on for me atm either. I really don't want to turn the resolution down for it. As higher resolution helps with the paning camera blur at 60fps. Anyway, glad I could help you make a decision, Ash.

Maybe it does look better in motion, maybe there's more noticable differences in certain maps and locations. Or maybe it's placebo. I'm happy enough with my Ultrawide 1440 look. And even an old-ish game, 4k on a GTX10 series is gonna sweat. I'm surprised you'd buy a 4k monitor for that (unless you're plugging into a 4K TV, safe assumption since you're using a controller). I just managed to get FNV somewhat presentable in 21:9, just need to get Fallout 4 sorted now. Ambient Occlusion is more for immersive environments if i remember correctly. Though only game I think I disabled it for was God of War when I was trying to get it stable on my old 1070TI rig
