My opinions in general haven't changed but have intensified. My understanding of the game has probably deteriorated. I don't know what a "salarian" or a "volus" or any of those others are or what it would mean to click on them or how to play them. I've gone from a simple Turian lover to a radical fat Turian zealot and find it physically, spiritually and mentally impossible to click on any other character class.

With the late rEAperApp nightmare , i've come to revere Origin. How f****d up is that.
As for the game itself , i've turned more and mroe into an anthropocentric bag of dicks , that is i tend to play more human vanilla characters.
MY understanding of the dynamics of the game as well as all the stats was never great. I couldn't be bothered to play it as a math homework. And it hasn't changed.

Being noticing nuking for targets is more of a thing of the past. Rarely do I see targets nuked. Something I dreamed of in the past. Prefer shooting targets down.
Though if I suspect a just barely getting by match, with the team's medigels running low, will nuke targets.
Starting empty lobbies with Armored Compartments is also a viable option, in the event no one joins. Armored Compartments are also nice as extra security for pug matches. When a pug is down, nothing says "I'll save you" like a killstreak.

I could name a lot of things that have changed for me over the years, but I won't list too many of them.
- Back in the early days, I thought I was gonna be a one trick only pick infiltrators player for the rest of my life but that didn't last long and I was able to be spread myself out to be more diverse I can play almost anything at a decent level, as long as they're not too host dependant.
- I barely nuke spawns with missiles or barely even use missiles in general, but if using missiles meant keeping my teammates alive then I'll do it, especially I hate trying to solo a 4 man hack circle, it's so dumb and stupid.
- GI + Claymore was the thing I've played the most until the Volus Mercenary Sentinel. I didn't really like him at first but I saw potential if I could gitgud and I did, and it never gets old just seeing players reaction seeing a Volus just wrecked them in the scoreboard or be completely flabbergasted that I make this character look so OP. Nowadays it's no surprise anyone who has played with me would mostly just see me play the VMS and they wouldn't bat an eye because they know I'm cracked at using him.
- I don't care much for score like I used to but I would usually end up at first place for 90% of my games. I think a lot of people here can relate but when you've put so many hours into ME3MP just honing everything from like understanding the map, the enemies, training confidence in whatever character you're playing, etc. To the point getting first place is as easy as breathing at least for me, unless it's another cracked player or a BSNer that I know, then I'm content with getting 2nd or whatever.
I still reminisce about this game even though I'm retired I'd never forget all the good memories I have and being a part of when ME3MP was in its prime, as well as meeting all kinds of people here that played on PS3. If I ever was to come back and ME3 MP is miraculously still alive you'd mostly likely find me in PC at that point, because I don't feel like replacing an old PS3 as well as getting another PS3 controller because the D-Pad doesn't work anymore.

Well Ihavent really played consistently like I used to for many years so my knowledge of the characters, builds and general game mechanics is no where near as good as it used to be.
I guess I will say that given my limited game time, I tend to elevate more towards weapon focused characters these days simply because it easier to pick up for a game or two before I have to stop.
My oppinions of the mighty Volus remains the same however. Truly the Apex species

I used to care when other players did obviously dumb stuff. Now I just shrug and play the game.
I do miss glorious social talkative groups I used to play with. Now no one has their microphones on.
I still like biotic booms the best. Triple detonation with the right party is the second most orgasmic sound in gaming. (Phantoms getting headshot is the first.)

I still find the game entertaining even after all this time. But the amount of time playing it is much lower than in the beginning many moons ago.
When this game came out I also had a compulsion to unlock all gear, and then later finish all the challenges. That didn't really happen with Andromeda, so my time playing the sequel was much less than ME3.
I haven't gone in a public game since I can remember. However a couple weeks back due to a workaround we were using, had someone drop into a lobby when our fourth was missing. I thought it could have been a BSNer, or maybe just a "redditor." But in any case they might have ended up being annoyed that we weren't really trying to play Platinum Collectors.

Unfortunately I can see the servers being switched off in the next year or 2. If you think about it, the game is over 11 years old so its amazing its last this long and there are still people playing it

Nightslasher and TTT's vids are instructional wonders on how to gitgud How can I find them? I tried searching on Youtube but got nothing; they're probably named differently there.
I was never good at the game and I only have 740 hours (most of which from 2015-2017; some from this year), but even relative to the limited skill that I've had I managed to become dumber. I was struggling on Gold with some not-maxed character so I thought I'd just pick Reegar AIU and have fun. Then I struggled with nearly maxed Reegar AIU, couldn't even break out of 4th place in a PUG.
BTW, thanks for mentioning Phasic ammo on powerful SRs, I have to try that. Might be another bit of knowledge that I used to have but lost. I always think of combos when looking at ammo, and nothing else.
