Bioware's server for matchmaking this game is awful. We've tried some ways to go around its issues but now it is possible to ditch it altogether and run an actually functional server on our own. The way we accomplish this is by using Jacob Read's Pocket Relay. In order to use Pocket Relay, two parts need to set up: a server and a client. The client part is super easy to use, the only thing needed is to point it to the ME3 executable, set the server's address and remember to not do that while ME3 is running. As for the server, I'm running one at 63.250.56.201. If you don't want your Platinum solos to end with a disconnect on wave 8, you can even run a server on the same machine as your game.  Pocket Relay works the public search and also works invites, even if the account is new. In tests, I've been even able to connect with a guy running ME3 in a Windows virtual machine. This means that we've also secured the existence of our game and the future for Mass Effect MP. Next project: Pocket Ark. You can contact the people involved with the production of PR through Discord on Jacob's Pocket Relay server or my Mass Effect Multiplayer one. This looks amazing.
I m still wondering how shitty EA was able to deal with the matchmaking. If using a private free server is easy, it s even more puzzling.
I m still unclear about most stuff regarding how te serveur client stuff works. Anyway, will try soon.
Do that works without ea launcher apps?
Also, perfect timing for me, was considering erasing the game and origin just to be sure to stop wasting time crashing

ok, i must have misunderstood, i guess i can only play with people connected to it
4th : tried to solo (private lobby), crashed again between w1 and 2 5th: tried to join andy_3_913 's game (who was running pocket relay too) in vain 6th: andy joined me, cool, my game crashed at the same point, maybe trying to update some challenge ? (50 waves on dagger)
7th: tried normal ea server game, andy couldnt join, me neither, lost console after unpatching the game and got ret glitch again (ret glitch fix from mgamerz OoO)
hum.....
also, if you play with it, EA wont track your game for challenge points and stuff

Never unpatch, it removes the binkw32 bypass that enables the console and a whole category of mods that includes the Retaliation glitch. I have the logs of your attempts, gonna send them to the creator when I'm back from vacation.

Turns out the logs can be downloaded easier than I thought, forwarded already.

Don't know what's happening but today, the matches became worse and worse as the game ctd and then progress to freezing midway. I did a repair with the DLC Ashes refusing to download. I skipped it. The game look odd, Like darker or something, with patches of darkness moving along with the character.
It freezes again midway. I did a fresh reinstall and it simply refuses to connect to any match although I can launch the game.
I'm on Win 11. There's no question of a roll back to Win 10 because this is a new rig. Although I requested for Win 10, the tech installed Win 11.
If I can't resolve this. Well, it's goodbye, adios ME3 MP.

The stacking sometimes happen at the Reactor. Shooting will take them out but sometimes, it has no effect. Biotics would work. If not, then last resort, missiles. Objective target failing to show is a first for me. I never came across this. Maybe it's the servers because the matches were fine yesterday. I was able to play for a few hours but today, it's like some gremlins are at work. I was able to play a couple of matches before everything down slide. I doubt it's my PC. I didn't download anything at all for the last several days.

It was some heavy-hitters I recognize. Was shaping up to be a fun gold match. Lé boo.

It was some heavy-hitters I recognize. Was shaping up to be a fun gold match. Lé boo. Something like that but it's only in the character's vicinity. Like a large rectangle that moves along with the turian soldier I was playing. The rest of the surroundings are normal. The game has no mods except for one that removes the horrible overlay of the geth scanner. When I reinstalled, I completely removed all folders of the previous installation and put the game in another directory though I didn't touch the folder in documents. Maybe I should do that.
