Upon eastern shores and sunkissed sands, the Lords of Fortune no longer hold dominion over the coasts of Rivain—not when dragons are growing bolder and laying waste to their ships. I can imagine people who have played the games but not read Tevinter Nights are going to think "who in the hell are the Lords of Fortune?" One of the oddities of introducing this faction in that book is that we had never heard of them at all in any of the previous media or the games. Surely a faction that "hold dominion over the coast of Rivain" would have merited some sort of mention by someone along our journey, particularly given their interest in recovering artifacts for money? I thought it was the Felicisima Armada who held sway over the eastern seaboard of Thedas. They are based on Llomerryn which is a part of Rivain, so have they morphed into the Lords of Fortune? If so, why the alteration? Did they think pirates were less acceptable than treasure hunters? I thought it strange enough they took so long to introduce the Titans into Thedas but at least they had some sort of reason for why people might have forgotten them (a sort of Thedas wide amnesia caused by the Veil perhaps?) but why would no one mention a group that were active in the north and controlling the coast up there? So is Isabella now a member of the Lords of Fortune rather than an Admiral in the Felicisima Armada?
