Like this
Every time it crashes it's with a Exception code: 0xc0000005 error, which seems to be something to do with memory. (I've tried doing all the sfc and dism stuff. Hasn't helped)
There have been quite a few red x's
Error
Now trying Large Address Aware from TechPowerUp, see if that helps. Forum and download link here
(No crashes so far, so who knows? Was able to keep recording after game crashed thanks to OBS. Not sure about Shadowplays experimental mode but when you alt-tab out or the game crashes the buffer gets reset.)

FWIW I haven't had that. I've had crashes but they were the consistent crashes I've had since the game's inception. (Sometimes it'll crash as soon as I hit Multiplayer.) *** I did have a bloody odd bug that was a new one to me. At least I think it's new to me. I was on a laggy host, but managing. Objective wave comes up and it's Pizzas. So I run towards it, and I think I get it but something goes weird. The pizza turns invisible, but it doesn't look like I got it. Now, there was someone next to me so I figure they must've got it just before I did. Except... he doesn't have it either. I start running around a bit, and then it dawns on me. I have the thing, it's just invisible. Now, like I just said, I was running around. But I didn't hear the "dropped pizza" sound. Now I get the inkling that maybe I have the damn thing on me but its invisible, and bugged so I can run with it. With that in mind I ran to the drop-off zone, and waited in it for about 5-10 seconds, a fairly long while in game-time. But sure enough, the objective counter tics over to the next one and a new arrow pops up on my HUD properly. Weird ass bug, and while I've played in modded lobbies that let you run with the pizza, this wasn't one of those. This was... a new one for me. (I think, now I just think I didn't realize I had the thing on me because I could run and it was invisible.) Anyways, I like my bug a lot more than yours.

Welp, wasn't having any more trouble with crashes. Was getting weird audio bugs though, so decided to do a repair installation of the game.
Ended up having to wipe my system disk and reinstall Windows.
I never said I was clever lol.

So, after a reinstall of Win10 I finally have ME3MP back up and running.
1: Thanks mainly to Mod Manager. And also Large Address Aware. And p0358 on Twitter.
2: No thanks to EA for the EA App. I wouldn't let whoever is in charge of that pile of steaming shit be in charge of making the tea.

Hello, got a question regarding MP on pc. Where to buy the best version on pc to run mods and private servers later on in case ea shuts down this game? I had a DVD Rom but it's not working anymore and I forgot my origin so now I will buy digitally just don't know where to go to be able to enjoy the pc magic with all the mods. Found the trilogy on ea and cdkeys for 30 bucks or so, also Do I need to buy more copies if I want to install on other devices? Would appreciate the help. Thx

Thx Others may be able to provide more detailed info, but here's my thoughts: 1) I'm sure you know, but just to be clear: Multiplayer is only available on the original version, i.e. "ME3 (2012)". The Legendary Edition does NOT include MP. 2) I mentioned since you wrote "Trilogy". For MP, you only need Mass Effect 3 (2012), not the other games. 3) $30 sounds like a lot, but I guess that happens when it is old and no longer pushed/supported by EA. But I think you'll still occasionally find it much cheaper? 4) More to the core of your Q: You only need one license (copy) and can use that one on multiple PC's. XBOX, PS, Wii, require their own separate purchases. 5) The problem is that the way it works is that you PC install and validate online only. What happens when EA drops it from its library, I don't know. Even if private servers continue to work (as others claim), I don't know how you'd get it installed and validated on a future PC (just copy all the files???). 6) I think all digital copies regardless of where purchased get installed and validated through EA App. So I'm guessing/assuming that it doesn't matter where you purchase.

First of all thx for the reply. Second, I'm very illitrate when it comes to video gaming on pc. Always been a console player, so please bear with me. 1) yep am aware of that. But thanks for reminding to make sure I'm buying the correct product. 2) yea, that's the thing: found it on EA for $30 while the whole trilogy for $30 on CDKEYS. this is in spite of owning the trilogy on Xbox, ps3 and MELE on PS5. 3) Thx for highlighting this, any particular Web store I should be checking? 4) I may not have been clear here so allow me to elaborate. On PS3 for instance, you can buy the game once and then activate two systems (ps3s) to access the game by any account playing on the activated systems. that is, two players, say family members, can play the game simultaneously provided you have 2 systems. This way I was able to play with my son MP through one purchase. So my question was, is this also possible on pc or do I need another copy to do that? 5) I see, thx for clarifying that. 6) understood, but what about the modding? Does it matter which version I buy (if theres such a thing) like from steam or ea or any other outlet? How about this, where did you buy yours if you are using mods published by the community, you know for objectives and credits? Finally, if you'd be so kind to link or direct me to threads or videos explaining the modding or tips on how i can get me3mp to working on pc would be much appreciated. Thx in advance for taking the time to respond to my noobish questions but as I said: new to pc gaming and all

rxsrt17 Okay, I understand better. Addressing your follow-up Q's: 3) re:Other stores. hmmm, no real insight here. I usually check Slickdeals.net for sales on anything (also some good, if opinionated, info on most any "deal" posted). You mentioned cdkeys, one of the gray market sellers. There are others but I just checked royalcdkeys and nothing there. So besides Steam, dunno, sorry. 4) Ah, understood (I have it on XBOX, so I know what you are talking about). Alas, on PC it is different . You are really paying for the account. So, sorry, if you want to play with your son, he needs his own game purchase and make an EA account (if he doesn't have one already) to claim it. Aside: it is not cross-platform either, so just PC account vs. PC account. 6) Hmm. I don't think purchase point matters vis a vis modding as all purchases eventually have you activate (and access?) through EA App. But I'm no expert here as I purchased all of mine straight from Origin/EA. As to mods, that's more involved. I dabble in them. Some basics: Get me3tweaksmodmanagerMany mods are available through that manager which accesses NexusMods (you'll want to register there) It might be worth taking a peak hereI've made objectives mods, as have many others. When you get to that point, give a holler here or DM. But for credits, it's easier. No Mod necessary: enable console (use ME3tweaksMM, tools>Bink Bypass>Check ME3, tilde and tab are defaults, but you can change, also in "Tools") Go into game. Enable with either console key. Enter "grantmpcredits ####" (without the quotes. ### = any amount you want. You can do negative credits to remove them as well, which I've done after getting a ton from someone's modded lobby). You can do a lot without mods, just with console commands. See this thread.

Why console is a more convenient medium for gamers like me. As im only interested in me3mp ill go ahead and buy me3 from the ea website. Its currently up for $30 dollars, might be safer this way. I'll DM you if i face any trouble, if you don't mind of course. Again, thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

The other option is to sub to EA Play ($4.99/mth). I got it for just 1 month on a new account and installed ME3. I lost access to ME3 on it (as expected) when EA Play expired, but somehow much later on I am now able to fully access ME3 on that account. Maybe somehow benefited from the Origin to EA App crossover? I dunno, so YMMV.
Anyway, once installed, feel free to DM me.
And welcome to the "PC master race"! You might find it takes a while to adjust to keyboard+mouse. But once you get the hang of it, it is far superior to controller (IMHO). And also nicer graphics.
