I keep writing how much I want an Avvar origin in Dreadwolf, but I'm not sure if there is much interest in it within the fanbase. Personally? I would like an Avvar slave origin in Dreadwolf, giving room for an Elf origin to be either a Lords of Fortune or an Ancient Elf instead but YMMV
I'd also like Dreadwolf establish the relationship between the Avvars and Tevinter, which as some of us have speculated in the Crazy theory centre, is that the Augur of Mystery Sidereal is likely an Avvar or has Avvar blood within them.

Well do you see an Avvar in this trailer?
The answer is No. I strongly believe that those are our Origins if you will. Grey Warden, Crows, Lord of Fortune and some Tevinter faction (Lucerni?) I wouldn´t rule out a Avvar companion but do we really need one to represent Ferelden? I would prefer if they focus more factions and parts of Thedas that they haven´t explored (that much).
On a personal note i never find the Avvar that interesting. They are fine in the Hakkon DLC but i don´t need nothing more than that. Edit: Therefore i pick the No but maybe next game! option.

Since we're in the north and actually going to Rivain I'd rather a Rivaini seer/pantheist origin, someone raised amoung the Rivaini spirit practises.
Avvar would have been a great origin for dao or dai though.

We'll have Tevinter, Antiva, Rivain, Nevarra and the Anderfels, so much new will be introduced there'll likely be no place to squeeze in the Avvar. They've got their own DLC anyway.

As others have said, I think it unlikely unless they turn up as a slave. I think they dealt with that culture in JoH. There is an off chance that we could see that group we sent north, perhaps as an optional side-quest, since I think there were some world states where they are dead (not sure about that).
I'm still hoping we might get a Rivaini Wise Woman but I think they seem to have lost interest in them and are now promoting the Lords of Fortune, even though we had never heard of them up to the Tevinter Nights short stories, which I find very odd considering their main focus of interest, treasure hunting including ancient artifacts, which should have had them cross paths with us before. It may well be it will be Mateo from Tevinter Nights as he was already being employed by people searching for clues about Solas.
I think we will get a Crow from Antiva, likely the female Crow we have seen in concept art. We may also pick a Qunari there, also likely female.
I definitely hope the Grey Warden is Davrin from the Behind the Scenes video and that they won't kill him off like they did Mhari after you start to like him. May be there will be more than one.
As for our own origin, I still think it more likely we will be a slave that is liberated by the fighting on the east side of Tevinter. I don't see how we could have the PC origin as Crow, as it would be limited to human or elf. I suppose a Lord of Fortune could just about be any race and stretching a point, a Grey Warden could be too, since there are Qunari outposts on that side of Thedas and a Tal'Vashoth could have joined up or even a devout Qunari under orders from their priesthood to gain knowledge of fighting darkspawn.
When it comes to Tevinter, the most likely PC background would be Sicarri. This would be interesting as they are normally slaves who are kept loyal because their families are held hostage. So that could have an interesting personal quest where we want to rescue them so we are fully free. Since they are slaves, they could be any race (even dwarf because it would be possible make casteless slaves without offending the Ambassadoria) and any class.

We'll have Tevinter, Antiva, Rivain, Nevarra and the Anderfels, so much new will be introduced there'll likely be no place to squeeze in the Avvar. They've got their own DLC anyway. Yeah that´s already to many locations and cultures there isn´t much room for them. Also like you said the Hakkon DLC has cover them more than enough. Edit: Or are there any major informations left out which are needed in the future? If there were room for a barbaric tribe (which again i highly doubt) in Dreadwolf Bioware should highlight more the Chasind. But they are more of a Southern / Ferelden Tribe so they won´t likely fit with rest of the game. Also like the Avvar i don´t find them that interesting.
For a DLC like Hakkon sure but as a faction in the main game i would prefer that both Avvar and Chasind aren´t featured in a important way. One or only a small handful of NPCs like gervaise21 suggested they are also fine.
