I keep writing out these threads, but now I want to hear this forums opinion on what dwarf origin they want - considering how little we've been shown of them in past games.
I was happy to see one of my confessions make it on the Dragon Age Confessions Tumblr - I've posted it before on the Wishlist thread but ideally for me I would like to see the Dwarf player have a parent/child relationship with the female qunari.
Maybe the two of them journey to Tevinter when FemQun starts showing signs of magic manifesting, and their they find safe passage at the Dwarven Embassies in Minrathous so she practice magic safely away from the Qun. There they could meet another companion, like a Kal-Sharok dwarf working as a Diplomat there for instance, who helps them find the assistance they need.

A playable Kal Sharok origin would be the dream.
But in the more likely scenario of a non playable background an ambassadoria dwarf would be cool, still different than Cadash, brosca, and aeducan.
Can't say I'm interested in having a parental relationship with any of our companions.

I definitely want Kal-Sharok to feature somewhere in Dreadwolf. I am not sure whether this would be appropriate as a PC origin as there is so much background to them that we don't know and I doubt could even be covered in a short origin section as we had in DAO. So, from that PoV, I would prefer to have a companion from Kal-Sharok and also to visit there, so we can get all the lore about them. I'm convinced that Kal-Sharok holds secrets that are going to be really relevant to the story. I'm guessing also that they would be opposed to Solas because of their attitude to Clan Cadalash helping the elven refugees from Arlathan Forest. However, as they were likely a pro-Evanuris faction of elves, it is possible that Kal-Sharok could be allied with the Dreadwolf or his rebels in the past.
I have to admit that learning more about Kal-Sharok and the Qunari origins are the two pieces of lore I most want to see in DA:D, closely followed by the origins of the humans beyond Thedas.

I also indicated anything to do with the Titans, although again that may not be appropriate for a PC so much as a companion. The advantage of a link with the Titans though could be that we could do a special kind of dwarven magic.

I have vote for Kal-Sharok, but i don't think they will do that. gervaise21 I agree with your reasoning. Also i vote for Castless Slave. But i think more of a Tevinter Slave, then anythink else. I like to give a few other options. 1. warden 2. Lord of fortune 3. qun worshiper |
